ns nickname: nfi Car Make and Model: SX Developments S15 Circuit Name: Wakefield Lap time: 1:01.4 Timing method: performance box Modifications Engine: Built 2.3 Power: 400rwkw Suspension: Bilstein Tyres: Hankook Brakes: Brembo Other: Car weight: Not light enough Video with data overlay.
  2. S15 so not directly comparable. Car: s15 200sx Weight: 1150kg without driver Power: 265rwkw Aero: wing and front splitter Wakefield: 199km/h (via data logger but that is with my foot still completely flat to the floor at the kink) Eastern Creek: 228km/h 1.04.0 at Wakefield 1.39.6 at Eastern creek Have a new engine in the car now that is yet to go to the track.
  3. Thanks Marko. Its definitely 'interesting' to drive even with the old 265. Still haven't got to drive it since the new engine, its just a dyno figure at this stage!! Just have some niggly issues I want to get right before I get it properly tuned. Don't to clog up Pauls thread. Build thread is here if you're interested - http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=520202 I agree. I thought it would be quite a bit laggier. I was a bit worried it might not really come on until 4200-4500. The precisions aren't really good quality though... I don't have much faith in it lasting... The casting and bearing and general fit and finish is a bit average but we'll see how long it lasts. I'm not expecting much though to be honest. The wheels are just so much better than garrett though its just too hard to ignore.
  4. Finally got through your thread Paul!! There is so much sh*t talk in here.... I think my SR is the engine that finally converted Paul to going to the dark side with a single. Here is an overlay of my car (black dots) over Paul's graph. I'm running same boost in the midrange but mine doesn't fall over up top. Both are on Yavuz's dyno. Somehow I don't think its the engine alone (it is a built and stroked VE sr) and the turbo has a lot to do with it (6262). Pretty interesting it made more power down low and also more up top with some losses in the midrange. Yavuz wanted to keep going, adding more boost but I reckon that is more than enough. Also, FWIW and those interested in buying a manifold, I had a extremely ordinary service and product experience with Alpha Omega....
  5. I think you'll find they're 2871R's or -10's from my conversations with John from Uas who is building on it. Could have misunderstood though.

I know! It was the first session of the day and unfortunately I only got two timed sessions before I broke the master cylinder. I was having issues with snap oversteer on corner exit. We later improved with swaybar and damping but a better time wasn't to be with mechanical issues setting in.
  7. Went to Wakefield on Sunday at the NSCC day. Only got two timed sessions in before I wrecked the brakes in two consecutive passenger sessions Still quite a few mistakes, car is a bit overdriven in a few corners but figured I post anyway.

  9. 10.5 is actually the correct size for 295. Hankook tyres actually recommend 10.5 for 295.
  10. Unfortunately I can't help you there. See if can borrow off the other half
  11. Sorry not really interested in a swap. Already have too many wheels Need wider and lower offset ones.
  12. Have a set of Buddy Club QF's for sale in 18x10 + 12 all round. They are in very good condition and as many of you know, a fully forged rim that is the lightest on the market (no volk rim is even lighter as far as i'm aware). Asking 2k. Contact via PM.
