  1. Yes Duncan...sorry got lost in this furum!!
  2. Followed a 'for sale' R32? GTST Unusual back it seemed to me ..very small looking, in fact the whole car seemed small! and, light cluster seemed different too (but with traditional round lights) 4 doors and what seemed a stock rear wiper. Were there many variations? I know its hard from that, perhaps theres a good pic site with variations. Ta Steve

Sorry, been absent for a bit. Any plans for Bathurst weekend of motorsport in Dec? Cheers Steve
  4. If I am forced to go with Falkens, which is better... ST115 or FK451? I did have GRB's in the past..no probs..... God this wheel and tyre searching is fun..NOT. Hopeless dealers, bum info etc... All I want now is 225/40 18 (f) and 245/45 18 ® not a lot to ask you'd think... I did want 9" r (265/40) 8" f (225/40) combo but nothing found to match tread, not even at $700 a pop.....doooh. TIA Steve
  5. Thanks fo replies guys The stock tyres are different f and r, on both 350Z's, which precludes tyre rotation anyway... The 18" Track is 225/45 and 245/45 The 17" Touring is 225/50 and 235/50.. Makes it hard..I'm thinking now 8" 245/45 front and 9"265/40 rear which keeps it in spec. The width is more cosmetic to fill the guards than anything else! Cheers Steve
  6. Ta for reply Tosh... I just don't quite understand the difference in having same size f and r - or bigger on rear.....maybe under/oversteer affected? Z Touring (stock 17") has 1/2" diff. (7.5 and 8.0)....up spec track @18"..no difference...... BTW. Sat Nav and dvd going in too..... Steve
  7. Good to meet some of you guys recently. An "interesting" night..... Good job Mona, Thanks. Thinking of ROH Drift R. 18" for the Z. with Potenza 225/45 and 245/45. Close to deal-any thoughts? Also the stock 18"'s on up spec Z are the same 8" width f and r, or do I go 8" front and 9" rear. Appreciate your comments. P.S.This will release the 17" Z wheels and Potenzas (14000k) if theres interest in them ..OK for 200, Skyyline etc I think. Regards Steve (Old man..duuuh)
  8. I thought only about $800 to $1000.00 all up second hand. I actually want sat nav but too exy at present........I need a very small screen to fit in custom 'hole' in dash approx 5" X 4" external. There are some available at Auto Barn for between $300 to $700 for screen and player $550. I guess thats OK for new anyway (plus install) Be good to get a screen good enough to take sat nav if I buy the CD bit later.
  9. Hard to believe they wouldnt have the parts here isn't it? I phoned Nissan H.O Aust and they confirmed it..a bit poor I reckon. Its a an Insurance job, do you think I can push for quicker delivery. Overnight eh, I didnt know that was possible. Yeah OK "tool" I maybe, but at least I was trying to drive the thing!
  10. I wonder if I have that dubious honour? Gashed both nearside rims on kerb + bent control arm. Wheels $938.00 rear......only $895 front!! (Ins' claim) Parts have to come from japan... 4 weeks? duuuuh... Bugger, there goes the Eastern Creek debut. aka Steve (Newbie)
  11. God am I the first? Dubious honour Slid gently into gutter, mashed both nearside mags and bent control arm......Oh sh**. Rims... $938.00 rear and $890 front! (Claiming on ins) There goes eastern creek hopes...shame. Parts in Japan duuuh 4 week wait..... Anyone selling car DVD and small screen? Steve...... aka datsunman (Newbie) 0418 840 252
