  1. 206 kw S2 manual getting 450 km city driving and 500 km on the highway. I do give it a boot full around town every now and then as well.
  2. That was my Stagea. My wife works for Channel 7 & they wanted to use the car to demo the new P plates. Not so sure I like the idea of using my Stagea as a 'P plate' demo though. Oh well, its a celebrity now!
  3. sounds like a great idea Chuckie. I'll be in Amsterdam for a while for work so will be a couple of months before I can attend one.
  4. Was it an auto transmission that failed Bunky? +1 for the get together.
  5. I followed Brad for a while @ the last Stagea day out. When he plants his foot the thing barks like a wolf hound with its balls kicked in! A mate tried to give him a go on his Ducatti but was left with nothing but a helmet full of 'catch if you can performance smoke'! I love the rear exhaust... doesn't look that big but man does it sing! Should have seen the faces on bystanders as it did so too! Awesome car Brad! And I too love that it is a sleeper. Noticed my Stag has same size rear axle as friends R33 GTR V-Spec, so that put a smile on my face! Someone told me series 2 manual has same back end (drive train) as GTR??? Perhaps the rear diff is different? What did you smash? Anyway, hoping you smash that 10 second mark! You have certainly inspired me to give our one a little more power.
  6. Hi John, I would not be able to run it until after June the 20th, as I have a annual check @ work to study up for and pass. We have had up to about 30 people at our pizza nights so food covered. Even if everyone chips in $5 it covers all the ingredients. As for parking, there is room to park just on a very large vacant block at the end of our back laneway. Probably 10 cars along the front and more if parked two deep. If that fails, Beatty Park (aquatic centre) carpark is two minutes walk away with ample parking and a photo opportunity in front of the cricket ground next to it. Another spot is the WA outdoor volleyball courts carpark which is about one minutes walk away. You will see both of those locations on Google earth near the corner of Vincent and Charles Street North Perth. I think starting a new thread for ideas is a great idea. I thinking keeping it fairly relaxed and not bigger than Ben Hur sort of day is a good idea. I never got to go on one of Wildcats cruises, but think she has done an excellent thing getting Stagea owners together. If she, yourself or anyone else wants to help organise the next one I would love the help as I am very much a newbie to all of this.
  7. I suspect this topic has been beaten to death more than once but because we love our Stageas so much I thought I would do it again. I am starting to explore that road of increased power for my Stagea and thinking larger (much larger than factory intercooler) front mounted intercooler is a good start. Can anyone provide personal experiences or sound advice on brands, model numbers, fitting, etc?
  8. My S2 came fitted with eyelids. It might give you some ideas. Cheers James
  9. My wife has already mentioned maybe we could help organise the next one and have it ending up at our place in West Perth/ Leederville to enjoy homemade pizzas from our wood fired oven. Plus, there is a large vacant block at the end of the lane way which will provide plenty of parking space. Anyway, just an idea. Just had another wild idea too! Maybe we could stop into the AHG driving centre enroute (pre-arranged) and carry out a couple of driving challenges like they do on 'Top Gear'. Nothing that will damage the cars of course, but fun challenges such as timed road cone slalom course or something. Perhaps a zero to 60 to zero comp, Brad has to do it in reverse! HAHA... Like I said, just a wild idea. Anyway, John and Chuckie did a great job of organising the last one and I really enjoyed it. Thanks guys! James
  10. Great work John! I'm sooo excited to meet other Stagea owners and see lots of Stags together! Talk shop about potential performance upgrades, etc. Plus get lots of pics I'll have to get the polish out tomorrow and make sure our car aka "Ag" is looking his Sunday best Can you email me a copy of the map, because as previously mentioned I may have to try and catch up/ meet up enroute. See you all there! James
  11. I am really keen to attend but working until 11:00 a.m, so might have to see if I can catch up and tag onto the end or just meet up at the picnic! Very keen to meet other Stagea owners as I see so few around! James
  12. Is there a WA Stagea owners get together next week? If so are all welcome? Time, place and date? Cheers James
  13. How come you are selling Stageagirl? Buying another Stagea?
  14. Nice, welcome to another WA Stagea owner! Side and rear skirts similar to ours, different front spoiler though. Manual or auto? We were lucky enough to eventually hunt downa manual.
  15. I know what you mean, we drove 3500 kms in nine days north of Perth. We weren't really surprised not to have seen another Stagea but were happy how nicely the car zipped along in harsh 42 degree heat and went around bends loaded up like it were on railway tracks. My wife was really impressed. Plus we have had our Stagea since June last year and no one off here has spotted it! Have spotted a couple others though. Funny how many people stop and comment on it, and all sorts of people too!
