  1. Is a fire extinguisher really required? Any rules on where it can be mounted?
  2. WTB GTR turbos Hi, Looking for a pair of Garrett GT2554R, GT2560R or similar e.g. HKS 2530 etc. Condition not important, mainly for test fitting. Cheers

I saw a Nissan Stagea with Canberra plates near Springvale yesterday. He flashed his lights at me, I was in my Legnum.
  4. 1998 Mistubishi Legnum Super VR-4 - Silver - 103,000km Located in Melbourne, Vic. TLDR; Great car, rare model - buy it now for $12,500. Currently has 12 months registration (VIC) and will be sold with RWC. Long story: Imported from Japan in August 2011 through J-Spec with 63,000 KM. The car was sourced from Saitama. Have 100+ photo's and some video from the initial inspection in Japan. Thousands spend on mods and maintenance with receipts. I have the dereg/export papers from Japan too which lists KM's at the last 2 registrations in Japan. Very clean inside, engine and transmission running very smoothly. Reason for sale: have debts, need money to get them under control Factory Features: 2.5L V6 Twin turbo 4WD as standard Dual airbags, ABS, ASC, AYC Factory Recaro seats Factory Momo steering wheel Factory Legnum floor mats (front and rear) Factory Super VR4 red carpet Factory Super VR4 red/black leather wrapped shifter Factory Super VR4 high visibility dash with purple accents Factory Super VR4 titanium coloured tailgate badge/logo Factory Super VR4 body kit with canards Factory Super VR4 Legnum spoiler Factory Invecs II tiptronic transmission Aftermarket features: Custom tune by TMR measured 164kW on a mainline dyno. Dyno was was prior to the 100k service, may be slightly more now. Alarm & immobiliser. More info available to genuine buyers. Currently using Penrite 10w40 racing Genuine Mitsubishi fluid used in transmission Power steering idler/pulley replaced Number plate relocation kit (for improved air flow over intercooler) Maintenance completed in the last 12 months: Injector seals and filters replaced Inner drive shaft boot replaced (left) ICE ignition leads Denso VK22 spark plugs Motul RBF600 brake fluid 100K service completed about 2 months ago with the following parts replaced: - Timing belt - Hydraulic tensioner - Tensioner pulley - Idler pulley - Crank shaft seal - Camshaft seals x 4 - Water pump - Crankshaft pulley - Power steering belt - Alternator belt - Silicon radiator hoses - o2 sensor - 77C thermostat - Coolant flush - Transmission flush + filter - AYC / Transfer case flush - Replaced both tie rod ends - New fold in motor in the side mirror - Rear sway bar bushes - Replaced some IC clamps and a silicon joiner as needed The bad Paint is showing its age in some areas which is to be expected for a 15 year old car. The paint has some peeling on the rear spoiler, though this is currently painted gunmetal plastidip which can be easily removed. A dint on drivers side and front passenger side doors. I may get the dints fixed prior to selling. Fun yet practical car. Fold down rear seats creates a wealth of space in the back. Enough to move a 2 seat couch or a single bed. I've moved a 2.5 seat sofa bed easily and also a 3 seat couch having the boot slightly open. Despite spending a fair amount to maintain the car, it has all been preventative and the car has been very reliable.
  5. Weather was great, I was that on Saturday too. My tyres got hammered, that surface is tough!
  6. Thanks to all responses and PMs, I'll send a message to Dan.
  7. I have a track day booked this Saturday and need to join a CAMS affiliated club before the end of the week to give me enough time to go to CAMS and get a license. I have applied and paid for an SAU VIC membership but their wait time is up to 15 days. (I applied 1 week ago but haven't had a response yet). Are there any other clubs that have quick turn around or should I just apply for the CAMS license now and say I'm an SAU-VIC member?
  8. Does Gavin still do tuning?
  9. No thanks, can't fit anything larger than 80mm thick in my Legnum. Already picked up the HDI from performance wise instead.
  10. I'm after a reasonable condition front mount intercooler. Something around 600x300x76mm roughly. Prefer Japanese brands but will consider HDI also. I'm located at the Gold Coast QLD. Will pickup from Brisbane for the right offer too.
