  1. so i have had a quick skim thru this thread....got some recommendations but they seem a little dated...any advice now/current for who to take my liner to for a service and all that??? anything at all would be helpful
  2. hey mate, got the same car and same name....and the same mods.....and chasing about the same figure aswell.....bloody coincidental. should catch up sometime.... anyway, i offered advice about the JJR split front and dump pipe, and gald that u have found this to be beneficial. as for a ecu setup......dont go and spend the money twice, jus save some more, enjoy ur car in its current power and let the bank balance pick up again b4 goin out and buyin a PFC.....i agree totally with what lithium has said.... also one other thing u could and maybe should look at would be a z32 afm...... Cheers Matt
  3. ahh ok cool....so jus get a blanking plate...and install one of them....but make sure i put some small holes in the middle of it so it has some air flow to stop the stalling???
  4. hi all, i did a quick search and couldnt find exactly what i was after.....so i thought i would quickly post something up in here... Ok have a S2 r33.....rb25det......so u know what ur workin with....and its auto wantin to put a BOV on it....?? is this ok/safe to do?? i have been told about stalling problems by doin so?? or do i simply clean out my AAC out and all that to stop that??? so yeah, jus finding out if its all ok to install one and that i wont have any problems with it... let me know Cheers
  5. the jjr split dump and front pipe is a great mod....i got a series 2 r33 aswell mate.....got it bog stock like u...and my first mod was a full turbo back exhaust.....the performance increase was phenomenal...by the seat of that pants dyno, i really noticed it....i was tossin up between a pod and stock air box, but i jus got a k&n panel and went that way...safer, and flows jus as well....actually i find it works better than a pod.....
  6. Hi all, got the stock plumback BOV and everythin on my series 2 r33...has the standard rb25det...jus so that people know what they are dealin with.... i want the flutter noise thru my pod/airbox/air intake...whatever u want to call the setup..... all i have is mass suction and then a massive whoooosh sound......but i want the flutter sound to come out instead...as it sounds better and all...but im not sure on which pipe i need to block or what exactly i need to do to the stock bov and piping to achieve this.... so can someone plz tell/show me....pictures would be greatly appriciated for this..... need any more info jus ask...hope someone can help me out.... i have read that this will cause the car to stall....true/false??? Cheers Matt n.b. : i dont need the lecture that flutter is good or flutter is bad....i have looked into it and i know the consequences etc.....
  7. ok, quick run down I have a series 2 r33.....full turbo back exhaust..... the stock boost solenoid is f*$ked....and has been since i got it...so my car only runs 3-4psi at the moment.... i have a boost tee and was thinkin of puttin it in and diallin it up to 9psi or there abouts....do i have to have a larger fmic...or the smic is fine for that much...jus not anymore??? i jus want a tad more power than stock, so this small increase in boost should do the trick..... so is it cool to jus do it that way???
