  1. Im driving a 34GTR and with the standard ball bearing turbo's reconditioned once, i was able to get 385awkw. With the GT-SS now, im doing 472awhp at 1.6 bar. For me, the standard turbo's felt more responsive although it could be due to the tuning? Im not too sure the GT-ss's sure feel laggier as compared to my standard turbo set up but still very responsive and comes very fast wheh compared with other turbos. I think the apexi AX75? or AX67? sumthing like that. A twin set up as well. Ive tried it on a friends car with the Tomei Derive RB28... Awesome turbo's.. Not much lag and very responsive as well.. just my 2 cents. Hehe
  2. I can be wrong, and im prob very wrong but ive heard someone telling me before that he has a HKS 2.8l with s T04Z doing 735whp? Or could that be 735hp at the crank? I would go for a high mount twin GTRS or 2835. If single, maybe a T88-33 or 34D?
  3. I think its a RX6B or does the B mean nothing? hehe Just wondering

  5. Thanks for all the responses guys! Appreciate it.. I know the car is running Motul ATF. When i depress the clutch, i hear the metallic ringing sound from the clutch that i really dont hear the gearbox. But about that rattle sound that comes when i kill the car and at idle.. When i blip the throttle abit, initially, meaning the first second or so, the rattle increases intensity with the engine speed as im blipping the throttle on the car. Could this mean a thrust bearing problem as well? Thanks again for the responses guys!
  6. Snowman: Thanks alot bro for the help.. Its somewhat noisy but i dont think its the Castrol ATF you mentioned. If im not mistaken, its Motul ATF. Hows that on the 34 boxes? Thanks again for the help..
  7. Hey guys, Pardon me if i ask some really silly questions as im still quite new to my GTR and hoping to learn as much as i can. Anyhow, my car was recently tuned by Eiichiro of Autoselect japan and then the clutch started slipping. So i got it changed to the HKS GDMAX twin plate if im not mistaken and now the pedal is really light although the bite point is really small and the clutch is really catchy although im coming around to getting used to it. The thing is, my mech told me that for the BNR34 GTR gearboxes that is made by Getrag, Getrag reccomends using ATF. So he used Motul ATF for my tranny and according to him, its normal to be quite noisy. In fact, its noisy under low revs when accelerating around 1000 - 2500rpms. And sometimes at idle, i can hear a rattling noise from the gearbox which was previously not there. All the while, my car when it is shut off, there is a slight rattle from the gearbox when i kill the engine and it shudders before it goes off and i came to understand that it is prob from the gearbox mounts being worn off. The rattle now at idle sounds like this particular sound but continous but goes away if you blip the throttle and keep the revs up. Only abck at idle does the rattle come. Does anyone have a similar experience or any feedback to share? Is there any truth behind using ATF in the Getrag boxes cause its much noisier now and sounds rough so its making me worried.. Thanks a bunch for all the responses in advance! Appreciate it. Regards, Kenny
  8. Bro, My PowerFC in my 34 GTR doesnt make any noise but i notice my hand controller makes alot of noise. Just holding it up and shaking it around will give you sounds like its not put together well and like something is loose on the inside. If im not mistaken, my PowerFC unit fits snugly.. I took apart the hand commander by the 2 screws behind and it just looks like the board is somewhat loose so i used some blu-tack and i wedged a few pieces around to make everything tight and compact and closed it back up and now its really silent. Hope it helps!
  9. Hey guys, Been quite awhile since i posted here cause i sold my R33 GTS off. Anyhow, i've left Australia and im now in Malaysia and i just got me a Veilside R34 GTR. Anyhow, im looking to sell the Veilside Kit. It is the Street Drag model and is still currently on my car. Pics are below and it is a original Veilside kit with the badge and serial number on the inside of the kit. The kit comprises of the front bar, rear bar, side skirts and top secret carbon fibre bonnet. I'll respray it to any colour that you want and the surface finish is beautiful. This kit is the kit that was on the Top Speed Veilside R34 GTR Street Drag Model that recorded 346.26km/h and for being the fastest japanese car recorded in New Zealand. The kit is aerodynamically tested for the above speed although i doubt many of us will ever go near.. Its on the top of www.veilside.co.jp I can arrange shipping to anywhere in Australia and im open to offers so someone make me an offer. Reason for sale? Im intending to take this car to Sepang circuit for some circuit racing but its gonna hurt when this kit gets cracked or stone chips or when a race car slams into my rear or side so im gonna go back to the stock kit before i hit the track. Thanks alot guys.. PM Me / SMS me at +6012-3893937 / email me at [email protected] Pics are below.
  10. Considering your list of previous cars, R33 GTR, R34 GTT etc etc, maybe try a BMW. Im from Malaysia as well and if you're looking at an Impul 350Z or a 34 GTR, you can afford the new E90 325i or 330i. Once modded, and some with superchargers too, they go quite quick.. Nothing compared to a GTR/350Z kinda speed but its a BMW...
  11. Im sure alot of parts could still be used from that car, considering its almost new. Just off the top of my head, - Seats - Springs/Shocks/Bushings - A rim? - Some parts of the dash - Aircond control panel - Dash cluster - Sway Bars .... Im sure theres more little pieces here and there he/she could salvage some money for.. And did the steering crumple or was made to crumple to remove the driver? Curious..

Just a carbon fibre replica of the original bonnet. All stock parts are still with me and will be given to the buyer. Am asking for $50,000 or best offer..
