  1. I got an online quote from just car for a 5000$ r32 and they want 2412$ a year for comprehensive. Is that right for 17? Cas if it is, theres no way thats worth it.
  2. what are we talking.. 7-8seconds you reckon?
  3. Oh, I was referring to the manual coupe.
  4. With the r32 gts25 coupe stock with 180hp does anyone know what it does the 0-100 in? and how does it go compared to a n/a supra? I've driven the n/a supra and its handling and brakes are great but acceleration isnt thrilling or anything. Just wondering since i am getting my first car soon what i should aim for. Thanks, Alex
  5. not trying to be a smart ass but isn't your "brothers uncles sister" just your aunt?
  6. Hey guys i got an inspection done by a mechanic yesterday and he said after 10 minutes of driving, a green liquid was dripping from where the engine meets the exhaust pipe. Another problem he said was that the gearbox was loud when driving. He hasn't really given me alot to go off. But if possible, I would like your opinions on whether these problems are worth investing in. The set price for the car is 9000 and i cant seem to find any other r32 n/a's around.(especially with rb25s in them). I have driven this car quickly and am really keen on it, but don't want to end up paying every last cent to make it run as I am still a student. Thanks guys
  7. Hey man neat car! I dont think those wings are legal in Queensland. Or are they?
  8. Hey guys, here are some pics of it. Let me know what your impressions are as i am pretty keen on getting it now Cheers
  9. Thanks alot for the advice guys! I will definitely take that into consideration if I decide to go down the path.
  10. Hey, I am currently of my P plates on the gold coast and am searching for a car. I have saved for 4 years, so i have been doing abit of research in order to avoid purchasing a lemon. I was wondering what the reliability was like with a 1992 r32 coupe non turbo. Having a nice car is one thing, but being reliable is another. I am looking at an r32 which has done 160,000kms on the body and has an rb25de neo engine conversion done. Other modifications include: remote mounted coil packs, hks hyper d coil overs, light weight einki japanese wheels with staggered width and yokohama advan neova ad07 semi race tyres, 4 pot brake front and 2 pot rears, lsd diff, timing belt. I am well aware that i will have to go check the car out myself to see the condition it is in and might get a car inspection done by RACQ. However the point of this post was to hear from experienced people who have gone down this path before. How are everybody's r32 non turbos holding up, how many km's do they have, and whether or not i will be having to continuously fork out sums of cash post-purchase of the vehicle for maintainence and replacing broken parts. (I simply will not have the money to do this) Any comments are most welcome and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
