  1. ok i post this straight at guilt toy coz i know he has some understanding of my setup. Effy the siggy goes off the road in december for the finish off mods, body, diff final fuel system, head and turbo/exhaust. As with so many others ive decided to run the E85 fuel given im about to change much of the setup anyway. The setup now is 2.8L 4cyl, running the hypautectic pistons im satisfied it can push my engine a little further as it wont ping running e85 correctly. Safer anyway... My current pump is only the Bosch 070 pushing 550cc denso injectors. Im at 95% capacity due to pump but injectors are close also. I would like to run Bosch 044 single pump with approx 880cc injectors but im wondering do i go for 1000 instead??? Will the single 044 pump be able to supply enough or do i need to consider a twin pump setup? Will the 1000cc injectors be prone to squirting at idle or is it simply safe when you pick good quality injectors??? So far no one has said anything ive seen about E85 being anything less than perfect at idle but it pays to ask. Im currently running rubber lines throughout, bar the length of stock steel line on the car. what fuel lines should i upgrade to? 6mm braided rubber or something else??? Im sorry to ask mate on the skyline forum and all but sadly im not aware of anyone having done it to a sigma yet. Any advice you can give me would be awesome before i go off buying my fuel setup and installing the wrong things.

  6. FOR SALE: Custom fibreglass kit in good condition. The kit has some battle scars on front bar light scuffing under sideskirts and damage to lower edge on mainly right rear side. Painted to match 4 door grey but may not match your shade if its older paint. Sidekirts are stretched GTR fit is easy as Front bar is Top Secret copy and fit requires removal of the front bolt on steel apron. Engineer had certified my car without it. Rear bar is custom blend of Uras skirt on bomex rear section. This is a one piece full wrap around bar easy to fit. WHOLE KIT $600ono Carbon fibre bonnet from unique performance only 3 weeks old($1190 new) asnew direct bolt on to any r34 skyline gtt, Not sure gtr???     it goes to the credibility of the whole system for sure. I work for the RTA and i play the same game as you all only if i go to the pits they go harder on me coz i should know better apparantly. The lower and raising debat really grabbed at it too. The comments of the engineer signatory in newcastle (Athol) slammed the government for the bandaid and draconian fix to laws that were fine already. Fact is many of our laws are fine as they are. Its the interpreation that is so vague, inconsistent or overdone. Why? Coz the government would rather make new laws and beef up standards (not bad things in all cases) than spend any money or time on educating the police officers, rta inspectors, blue slip inspectors and engineer signatories on what is and isnt acceptable. The engineer signatories have offered to train police and rta to get the lines consistent and they get shunned. It's rediculous and hence why i still call for premier rees resignation. There are some of us trying to do it correctly and even more of us that when defected actually want to do the right thing but the bar keeps getting moved between officers of the law and rta inspetors. Guys like Tonygtst for instance...
  9. never forget though guys to be booked you either have to have admitted guilt or they have to have the radar readout. The old cop followed and booked you doesnt stand up if you insist you werent speeding. They day i was told this ages back i used it to get me out of a sure loss of licence. NO FINE, NO NOTHING. He was trying to get me for 45 over i insisted i was no more than 10 over and on the brakes at the time. he insisted his unmarked commodore is accurate and that they had me at 115 in a 70 i said im sorry but i know what my speedo said and i cannot vouch for his only that mine said 80 or just over when i looked while decellerating at the 70 sign. (this is deemed as a ficticious story by me if presented in court of law) Hence why highway patrol's have video camera and speed readers. The we'll let you go lower is coz they either are being nice or dont have the credible readout to make it stick in the higher range. same goes for poor behaviour and stupidity. If caught by them they are witness too it but the fact that they can prove it rests on being able to prove you did it. Ie spotted recorderd rego, video footage, marks on road and evidence of recent behaviour on your car. In cases where you are being pinned for someone else it sux coz they go hard on you but stick your guns and insist on the evidence. Nothings more important though than being respectful while doing all the above.

  11. old bar cara for sure and im not a fan of the eyelids certainly prefer the stock lights look but hey its your car, and your expression, if you like it thats all that matters.
  12. in a similar question but different model im also upgrading my gtt wing to a gtr wing on the r34. Do they have any issues with doing that????
  13. recently had the pleasure of driving a young chicky friends car here in newi. It was the r34 4 door n/a auto. Stock suspension and tyres etc with a mild bodykit. I must say it was super smooth to drive and not too bad on power but certainly lacking the turbo of course. But if im fair and compare it to na family sedans falcon's and commodores it's an epic fail. You dont get the economy of the commodore or even the falcon for that matter as she informed me, it doesnt feel anywhere near as quick as the same era commodore but not far off the falcon. what you do get is super smooth, super sexy class and something not found on every street. For a p plater i rate it but a family i wouldnt bother. How is the manual version i wonder though???? oh and you better believe i let that her take the turbo 4 door for a run. No surprise she loved it! Was just great to give her a chance she wont get for three years.
