  1. Some of these responses are inaccurate and misleading.. I feel people are just repeating theories they've read Once again -- The cams are unlikely to be dialled in correctly Work from "easy / cheap" to "hard / expensive".. and preferably not go backwards Open inlet 6466 Gen2, 2.6 crank, 272 cams will work together Might need a couple more pounds boost to get it working more efficiently, but if its coming on @ 5500rpm then there is another issue I've driven my setup on 21psi before (gate pressure) and it basically comes on the same
  2. Nope, thats got nothing to do with it.. ive got an open .82 and im making 30psi at 4500rpm, running 272 10.2mm HKS cams If the setup is only making 18psi @ 5500rpm, I would be looking at dialling in the cams better Edit: 2860-5s are way shitter in every way compared to the 6466, do not consider buying them, fix the issue with your setup
  3. Any on-going reviews on using a Quaife rear diff? I currently have a Quaife in the front and a stock in the rear which has started single pegging Im tossing up between the Nismo and the Quaife The car is a 32 GTR with 767whp, and is mainly used for straight line stuff and a once a month street lap basically My main concern is that the Quaife in the rear wont be aggressive enough for a high power car doing big antilag launches? Having said that I have previously had a Trutrac in an SS ute and thought it was awesome, would do great donuts and clutch kick skids and it always locked up.
  4. All other things being equal, the 6266gen2 will piss on your 2530 twins in both response and power If you were happy with them, you will be happier with the Precision
  5. I reckon 1.00 will be too large on a 2.6 Read my mini review of my setup a couple posts up
  6. Also the setup made 656whp on 1.7bar / 24.5psi It became difficult for the tuner to get proper readings out of the CAS at that point, so we changed to crank trigger sensor to go 2bar
  7. Hey mate, i saw you were selling your turbo on facebook and was going to comme t but didnt want to f**k up your sale.. 20psi @ 5000rpm does not sound right I use a 6466 Gen2 with .82 Vband single entry housing on my built RB26, which has a Nissan 2.6 crank and HKS 272 10.2mm cams On E85, it makes 30psi by about 4500rpm, and makes 710rwhp I would highly recommend this to anyone.. it has less lag than my previous 2860-5 setup, which i personally did not think was laggy.. but theres no contest when compared to a big single, it comes on like an absolute motherf**ker
  8. Opinions on a 6466 w/ .84 TS on a built 2.6 with 272/272 10.2mm lift cams? I have poured through this thread, and as such was leaning towards the 6262 or even considered the 6062 Gen2 thats just been released - but my engine builder is telling me the 6466 is 100% the go I trust the workshop, but just want to double check other's results; dont want something that comes on at 5k or later.. id rather it come on hard at 4.2-4.5k rpm Its concerning seeing people say a 6466 outflows a T51R
  9. I realise its through an auto with a loose convertor, but when does it start ramping up hard?
  10. What brand and size are your wastegates Simon?
  11. Im also keen to see results of Gen2 6062 and Gen2 6266 units.. Ive found 6466 vs. Gen2 6466 on a US Supra forum and it was identical spool, but with +30hp around the peak 1500rpm
  12. Yea whats the go with the 6062.. any figures yet?Is it the newest version of the 6262 basically?
  13. Not hating on it at all, im actually pretty interested in it.. but I wanna see some customer results first
