  1. No wonder it sold in a day it's worth like double what the advertised price was :/
  2. You never get value for the money you put into a car. At the end of the day yeah it has 300kw but it's still 20 years old. No one cares what you spent. Max you'll get imo is $9.5k
  3. Hello all! For sale is my Nissan R33 Skyline GTS-T 40th Anniversary Edition. I've owned this car for 2 1/2 years now and it's brought me nothing but smiles. It's been lightly modified with the following modifications: Front mount intercooler Exhaust - HKS Super Dragger turbo back Pod filter Electronic Boost controller - GFB G-Force II - running 8psi Turbo timer Volk Racing 17" Gold coloured rims on Kumho39s - plenty of tread left! the rear rims I believe are 10.5" wide I think, I could be wrong but I run a 255/45/17 on the rear. Double DIN JVC Stereo with USB input so you can plug in your phone and play your tunes. I bought brand new kicker top of the line speakers when I first bought the car and had them installed also. I service it every 5,000km with fresh oil & filter. In February 2016 at 198km service was undertaken at Unique Auto Sports with timing belt, water pump, drive belts etc replaced. Whilst there I got them to put fresh oil in too. I've attached a copy of the invoice. Fresh brake pads were put on the rear this year also. This car is coming up to being 19 years old, there is scratches on the car consistent with a car for this age. On the front bar above the number plate there is nicks and scratches and towards the bottom of the front bar there are small white spots. Mechanically the car is great it's never let me down the only reason for the sale is that I've bought another car. All electronics work apart from the air conditioning. I've replaced the motor that controls the drivers side window as it failed. It's currently sitting on 208,000km - this is only a number, these RB motors are insanely reliable and people run 250-300rwkw out of these unopened 200km+ motors successfully. This is only lightly modified and has been serviced with care. The previous owner told me he bought a new IAC valve not long before I bought the vehicle and she still idles beautifully. Registration is until 31st August 2017. There's no finance, never been in an accident or defected and whoever buys it will enjoy it like I have. Plates will not come with car. Price: $9, 500 Location: Cronulla Contact: 0-421810762 I'm not interested in "$6k cash today" or negotiating over the phone. Don't buy the car sight unseen, come and see it.
  4. If you're gonna be dropping $30k+ you want someone who knows RB's like you said. Unigroup.

    M4 Toll

People already get off at Church Street because after Church Street is where the worst congestion is already. Depends where you're going, though. Parramatta road will become more clogged if that's even possible. The M4 is always riddle with accidents at the Homebush bay drive off ramp and the M4 stinks in general. Now we're going to have to pay for the pleasure of driving on it? For just 1 more lane? To me it's a lose lose. I work and tend to travel outside of peak hour times so this does not benefit me at all.
  6. I need new rear rotors/pads for my R33 GTST '98. My cars stock, I daily it. I never track it... the rare/occasional spirited drive through the hills. Will these suffice? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R33-GTS-GTST-1993-1998-REAR-Disc-brake-Rotors-RDA908-PAIR-/121307919528?hash=item1c3e83f4a8:m:m9aoyr6VpdOTfGh2HxrDXEA And I need some advice on which pads? Preferably Bendix but I'm not sure which ones are most suitable for my needs?
  7. Made sure the plugs are gapped correctly, I had this exact problem and gapping the plugs correctly fixed it. Inspect the coil packs (mine were fine) also.
  8. Probably best to PM offers mate. Free advice, asking for less than half of the asking price is close to a spit in the face.
  9. Because the owner can feel bad as they've contributed to the excess waste. At the end of the day they've bought the car that's supposed to be within regulations and it wasn't. The argument cannot be made that "This doesn't bother you" when put simply, how do you know that? Just because they didn't buy a Prius doesn't mean they don't care about the Environment.
  10. I've never owned a GTR, nor have I ever been in one. But I've had an EVO 7 with 235awkw and it was a fun expensive pig of a thing. It was my daily and it has got to be one of the worst dailys out there. Weekend car only. # Poor turning circle # Peanut sized fuel tank # The Recaro's are extremely uncomfortable on your thighs # Driving position was lacking, I felt way too high Handed like it was on rails, brakes were excellent, gearbox was snick and precise. Gave you total confidence in the corners. But in the end it didn't feel special at all, it felt like as Jeremy Clarkson would say 'it's just some car' I owned a 33 GTST once upon a time before this, lo and behind I now drive a 33 GTST and it feels 100 x more special than the EVO ever did. With that said, a GTR must feel a hell of a lot more special than a GTST so my vote is the GTR. I think the question is flawed though. What does 'better car' mean? value/looks/performance/price/maintenance/responds to mods the best? See what I mean.
