  1. Evening all, finally got around to actually going through my photos from the Targa Rally last weekend, I was pleasantly surprises to find a few decent shots.
  2. Voted! Ok cheers for that, I will give it a go. It is damn hard haha. I recently got myself a 7D, so I am still getting used to all the new features.
  3. skyliner85 how the hell do you get shots like this?? I was trying forever to get it to work, how did you get so much of the car in focus? Shots like this are still very new to me, so I have far more useless shots over ones I kept. P.S This is a beautiful shot!!
  4. Yes this is "Nifty Fifty" that GoldZilla was refering to in his post above, I have this lens and it has been on my camera more than any of my other lenses. It is a great lense for the costs, you have seen the review of it on 'The-Digital-Picture' so you know what you are paying for. It is a great place to start off. So I guess I am saying... BUY IT.
  5. Nice job on the 1100D, its a nice place to start with. One of my friends had the 1000D, his only problem with it was that he quickly found that he couldnt get the kind of quality that he was looking for so he upgraded to the 550D. I would have recommended going for the 600D, but each to their own. Try investing in some decent glass as you will be able to use it long after you replace your current camera body. All the best and have fun, photography is an awesome hobby
  6. Its not there any more, drove past the spot about 1 hour ago and its been removed.
  7. Hahah awesome, I love Durbs. I am going back at the end of the week, so ill keep my eyes open and see how many imports I can find.
  8. Looking forward to see how this build goes!
  9. Always good to see another South African! Where you from bud? Im a Jozi boy!
  10. That sucks man! I feel your pain. One of the ladies at work locked her keys in her car and got RAC to get into the car to get the keys, when the RAC guy got into the car he opened her door right into my drivers side door. Leaves a nice mark when her car is white and mine is black. Was able to polish most of it out. But then about 3 weeks later someone at work or the gym opened thier door into my car, took the paint all the way down to the primer!
  11. I am blown away everytime I look into these photography topics! I recently got back from a trip to the philippines and singapore and took a $h!t load of photos. I am still trying to sort out what I want to keep and what to delete.
  12. Haha nah unfortunately i had to pay for the replacement. oh well.
  13. Thanks guys, much appreciated... haha I just had my 100,000kms service done and they changed the belt then as well.
  14. Hi Guys I was giving my engine bay a quick clean today and noticed this sticker: I realise that the 1st 2 lines say something along the lines of "replace timing belt at 100,000kms" or something like that. What I want to know is what the third line says? Any help would be great. Cheers.
