  1. That would be me! Recently located to ACT from Sydney. Ended up coming 11th that night
  2. Anyone have any experience with the follow size wheels on a R34 GTT? F - 18*9+22 running 245//35//18 rubber R - 18*10+30 with 265//35//18 rubber I am looking at getting some wheels for my GTT, currently running stock suspensions (planning on lowering after I find the right wheels.) I'm hoping for the wheels to sit as flush as possible with the guards. Would also like to avoid stretching rubber. I'm prepared to roll guards when I lower the car, but I'm wondering if any further work would be required?? Cheers!
  3. Just been through the headphone upgrade process myself the past week. Ended up with a pair of Sennheiser 598s and an ASUS Xonar Essense STX Sound card. Previously I have used all sorts of gaming headsets; Siberia Icemats Steelseries 5hv2 (2 pairs) Steelseries Icemats Logitech headsets Sennheiser headsets And none of these come even remotely close to the sound quality my new setup can produce. I would highly recommend a dedicated soundcard with headphone amp. I have also used the ad700 and ad900s on my card and they are amazing! Personal preference due to can size made me lean towards the 598s. AudioTechnica's felt a little too big.
  4. I am assuming all the work is done by now. Any pics of how it all turned out?
  5. Hey mate, do you know if this will replace the R34 GTT stock wing? Should it bolt straight in? Interested in the carbon fibre set if you could possibly post up some pics. Cheers.
  6. Very sorry to hear! Newport surprises me as I work in the area, better keep a closer eye on my 34. I work in a computer store, so in the off chance someone brings in a camera I'll check it out for you. Best of luck with it all!
  7. Should be a on/off switch by your left knee under the steering wheel. Pic is from my Manual 2000 GTT, im assuming the auto is no different.
  8. Yep new patch 4.0.6 came out after Tuesday's reset. Its only like 240mb, but if your capped would take you forever!
  9. Certainly sounds like my car. I work at Newport. Drive from Dee Why to Newport each day.
  10. Had to pickup some touch up paint myself today. First I tried Autobarn, they would have matched the paint code, but had run out of white (colour i needed) As I live on the Northern Beaches they recommended Autolac in Brookvale (Winbourne Rd) Stopped by there this arvo and picked up a 250ml pot of QM1 - White for $30. If you are in the area I'd suggest giving them a try. But I am sure there are other Auto paint shops in NSW, just giving my input, hope it helps.
  11. Hey mate, My 34 had the stockies painted black when I picked her up. Check pics below, hope it helps!!
  12. Done this many a time now. Jack the car up, undo all bolts from turbo back. I had old one off and new one on within the hour. Be careful where you go if you choose to go the mechanic route, I had an estimated quote of 3hrs labor at $110 per hour to fit a turbo back exhaust!! If you've got the tools and a free afternoon save yourself the cash EDIT: Cass, fit my exhaust to your car already, want to see how it goes for you !
  13. Not sure, its a future plan long down the track. But would like something like 18*9 or even 18*9.5 in the rear - Though you are probably getting into guard rolling territory. I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to wheel fitment.
