  1. the single greatest advantage of a Motec, is they're exceptionally updateable. my tuner bought his Motec in 2001, and he just gets an email from Motec saying updates are available, he says yes and gets them via email, so his 15yo ECU is on par with a current M800 I would love a Motec, but can't justify the extra few thousand that is needed to go that way.
  2. Log book picture.. and fresh Pro Fab oil catch can/rad overflow
  3. Took the old girl for a quick systems test run around the block last night. nut and bolt check tonight, then book her in with Andy Kuc for a tune. even took the pictures for the CAMS logbook.
  4. Still got these mate??? and could you pack them if I bought them??, I would get TNT to pick them up.. shoot me an email. [email protected]
  5. Yep Like Funz has said above. after the death of a driver at a private practice day in QLD last year. you are now required to have a CAMS official present at all CAMS race tracks, it'll be a pain in the arse for a few years until, we get a few younger guys trained up top do the job. Cheers
  6. do you need it for a GTsT or GTR??? I have some GTR 1's, but no GTsT 1's.
  7. everybody knows, once you start you just can't stop!!! just a local guy down here in Tassie, cost couple hundred but well worth it.
  8. Thought I had better update this thread, getting very close to being complete. .
  9. The lads at Pro Fab did the cage in my 32 GTR, you WILL NOT beat them for quality or price..
  10. This has just put a dent in my old mate Johnnos plans I recons because he doesn't have a neck, he shouldn't have to wear 1 though....
  11. It did on my car, even had to wire the warning light to my digital dash, because the alternator would not charge without it, no charge from the alt + cut battery power equals car wont run..
  12. my 32 has had battery moved into the boot, positive cable is run through the cabin via the battery switch, and the auto elec used the alternator warning light to stop the car when the switch is turned off. the alternator warning light is what excites it to charge, so if it's switched off it kills the car, only drama is it can also kill the alternator.. Cheers
  13. this dude is selling some second hand 255's up Burnie way, give him a buzz. 0419897983 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=558966684142787&set=gm.621919021159819&type=1&theatre $40 each for these 1's.
  14. I ran on some R888's Jack, and found them to be way to hard. if budget is no drama then the big 3 are the only option, Yoki, Dunlop's or Bridgestone. if budget is tight then try the Nitto's, they seem really good, haven't ran a heat cycle on them yet, but they seemed good out of the box, but that was 2 years ago.
