  1. sorry i should have stated. Injectors and FCD for a Toyota Starklet GT turbo. =)
  2. HI all, im after 440cc injectors and an electronic fuel cut defender (prefer HKS) PM me if your keen to sell.
  3. what is it? as in what car it is? Its a 1995 Toyota Starlet GT 1.3L fwd Turbo 133hp stock.
  4. hmm, i wouldnt even consider an ek9 type R as a fast car / sports car. Type R has to be DCR, DC5,EP3,NSX
  5. In syd, my friend got a ticket for not having water in his wiper reserve tank !!! there are ways around mods though, you can hide things like turbos, ecu, BOVs, best place for a BOV is under a fender. I think people usually get booked when an officer has lots of shiny things to look at. Shiney stainless steel piping, blue silicon hoses are a good sign of something else sleeping under the bonnet. To be honet, i much prefer the stealth look, i have black intercooler piping, black BOV, black Boost controller, ecu is hidden, BOV is under fender, black runners surrounded by black heat sheild, next thing on the list, black rocker cover. Its still all there, but its not staring you in the face is all im saying.
  6. the kind of evil chuckle you have when you like something ? or the kind of chuckle you have when you see a turbo mirage or a Camry with Lexux badging?
  7. Yeh, they are the type of car you step out of saying "that was fun" It felt quicker than it was. I remember i could hear the engine roar and being thrown back in my seat and jerked around. It felt very fast It sounded as though it was ready to launch into space LOL. But when matched up against my 1.3L-T(TD04L) it was kinda no match. And my car runs smooth as a bee, comfortable to drive, no massive force pulling you back, not rattling chassis or screaming engine, If you were to drive both cars, you would think mine was much slower because its smoother. I guess thats the thrill of a type R then? People like the agressive ride, rough and tumble jerking around even though it feels faster then it is? I LOVE inconspicuous cars, however i think Type R's are quite the opposite.
  8. Cost big bucks to get an integra/civic to run with the big boys (skyline, F6, sti, evo, 200sx, S4, R36 passat ect) They are fun to drive, but it would be annoying to have to completly hammer/reline your car to have to get anywhere. . . . it would feel like constant turbo lag with out the big surger of power at the end.. most civic/integra's get K20, H22 transplant doesnt come cheap and not that big a difference in performance. You need a turbo to really get anywhere .. heheh (for honda) Accord Euro would have been nice in Type R, now that i would consider!
  9. they are pretty expensive though, as mentioned earlier, for the price range of a DC5R and EP3 you can get some really nice turbo cars .i.e skyline, 200sx, wrx, evo, Then again i guess it all comes down to personal taste. So far those who have had a type R have really enjoyed it i take it.
  10. On you mate let us know how it goes. My daily for the past couple of months has been a Renaultsport Clio (2.0, 125kW, 1035kg 0-100 ~7), maybe not quite in the Integra R category in a straight line, or your Starlet beastie but it's a sweet handler and still good on fuel. Might be a good alternative to a Civic R? Hot hatches are only gonna get more popular with no end in sight to the fuel increases... Clio sport is an awsome car!!! some very nice ones out there!!
