  1. Unfortunately uninsured. The house was unoccupied at the time and car was parked in a garage/carport (front of house but facing sideways) which was entered via another locked gate and car towed away. Suburb has at least one burglary per week so thieves would’ve been aware of car at some point in the last few months and come prepared with tow truck.
  2. Unfortunately my car was stolen in the last few weeks while I was away. Car towed from garage in brisbane south. Wasn’t running and unregistered but good condition white 1994 series 1 r33 gts-t. Black 17inch kakimoto rims, fujitsubo ti exhaust, gtr drivers seat, hybrid fmic, standard body with m spec front bar. reward for information that leads to recovery. thanks
  3. Standard nismo oil in the LSD kits is weighted 80W-90. I'm gonna have the same problems sourcing oil after i install and run in my diff. Keep us posted how you go with alternate oils.
  4. Thanks for the advice guys Will call a few diff shops and see if anyone has experience fitting these. I was advised that if they're not fitted and aligned properly it'll increase chattering and noise...so i'll take out the diff myself and get someone to replace and fit the centre.
  5. Came with instructions and i originally wanted to do it myself but the fitting of the centre seems to require some sort of alignment tool. Don't wanna do a dodgy install and have it working less than ideally.
  6. I've just bought a new Nismo GT LSD kit and am looking for a place in Brisbane who will do a reliable job installing it? Anyone had experiences with getting new LSD centres installed? Recommendations? Cheers Jason
  7. Never been on track so couldn't really say. Have done lots of spirited driving on the road...twisty mountains..and find them more than sufficient. There is little body roll and good feel over bumps. The only other R33 skyline i've driven with coilovers was a GTR with tein HA's. Felt much stiffer and harsher over bumps.
  8. I've got Type Flex's on my R33 GTS-25T. Mine are set so that centre of wheel to gaurd is about 340mm all round. They have lots of room to go lower though. I'm sure you will be able to get them to sit as you describe. I run 17x8 and 17x9's and have about 3-4cm from wheel to guard. I'm quite sure they could be adjusted much lower. Plenty of room on the coilover to lower more. I think they are great for the street. Firm but not overly that it feels as your car is gonna fall apart. The car handles well too. They are designed as a compromise for the daily driver with track work in mind. Another user on SAU a couple years back also recommended them to me when I posted the same question as you.
  9. Interested in slotted rotors (front+rear) for series 1 r33 gts-25t. Please PM me price with postage to 4116.
  10. Has anyone fitted this to a car with an ARC airbox yet? Feedback?

  12. It's not always a problem associated with odo tampering. Mine stopped too so I took out the cluster to check it. My problem was a small plastic arm that the reset button applies pressure to broke. Almost like a stress fracture from too much use. Glued it back together and it worked but has broken again. I've bought another cluster to replace the broken plastic.
