$300 is not all that much, especially if it reduces insurance costs. Probably save more than $300 on insurance costs within a year or two.

Hey guys, does anyone know of any advanced cornering/braking courses that you can do in SA (similar to the kind of thing you can do for a motorbike)? Everything I know about cornering etc has been developed by trial and error (although with no "damn, I just crashed my car" kind of errors) but I would rather learn how to do it all properly. Thanks

I have just put a set of Maxistop pads on the front (got them put on as part of a front caliper overhaul under warranty, so there wasn't a great deal of choice). Cost about $70 and seem to perform as well as the bendix pads, but without the annoying screach that every set of bendix pads I have put on have had.

Damn - I don't get back from NZ (work) till the 6th of March - doh. Just have to make it to the cruise after the next one.

Very nice cruise, count me in for the next one if im home at the time. Good to put faces to some of the names around here.

Hey ppl. just got myself a R32 GTS-4 and want to start gettin involved. Just give me a time and place and ill be there.

Im running Fuchs (5-40 I think, but I may be wrong, but the brand is correct) synthetic and getting a max of between 2 and 3 once it has all warmed up. At idle it sits very low on the stock oil pressure gauge but still registers.

Sounds like you've done something nasty to your suspension. I Had the same problem last month-the problem was my left rear shocker. It had leaked out all it's oil over the previous couple of days. Nice big oil blot on the driveway under the left wheel the next morning.

Seems like a lot of kms for the years though. I recently got a 1992 R32 GTS-4 with 77000km on the clock, but the car yard was asking $20k for it. .
