  1. Its a nu3001. Android 4.4 2gig ram and 1024 x 600 res. Sounds like a bad red but its the largest you can buy for android and looks crisp. I have the Bluetooth version of the obdii dongle also. Haven't tested it with this car yet. So the head unit has 2 Bluetooth receivers so that torque can run all the time with your phone.
  2. Just finished installing my android 7 inch headunit using the genuine dash kit not the metra. Came up pretty good, even the steering wheel controls work without using a control box, because the headunit has a 2 channel steering wheel control connection.
  3. Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I did a quick search and couldnt find what I wanted to know. My cousin's 300 ZX TT has been defected They spotted the turbo timer, so that has to come out, and also it's too low, so we need to sort that out as well. Im just wondering, who else has been through regency and what do they do there? Will they go through his entire car inside and out and find more defects that he'll have to fix? Or does he simply need to fix what the police have written down? Other defects that I can think of are front mount intercooler, 18% window tint, and a sub and amp in the boot. Any help would be awesome! Please help if you've been through this situation yourself, rather than speculating. Krystle.
  4. Might head down and watch this one. And take some photos too! Krystle.
  5. I'm almost over the flu.... its been a week now but Krystle is still heavily effected and we have a scuba diving weekend booked in for sat/sun.... Runny noises and sneezing don't mix with 20m depths and dive masks
  6. As stated, both of us had/have the flu. I think a more traditional meet then hills drive ending up some where for food would attract more people in the future. Hopefully we are not sick for the next one
  7. Now that you have admitted to jump starting i would agree with deep dish..... Sounds to me like you perhaps connected the jumpstarter backwards briefly which would blow the main fuseable link. This is one of the most common mistakes i see when called out to a car yard or dealer... eventually i get the mechanic or car sales person to admit that they tried jump starting and they remember doing it wrong or a large spark when connecting it. I still think you got a flat battery and tried to jump start it which has blown a link and that i why the window is down and you have no lights. 20 days is a long time for a modern car to be left without a decent run or a trickle charger, and you have a viper alarm which cause more current draw than most alarms. Also starting a vehicle and letting it run for 5-10 minutes will actually drain the battery more than just letting it stand, because the cranking of the engine drains the battery far more than the alternator can charge it within a short period.
  8. also, why is the drivers window down at all? This would mean that the door was left open until battery drained, then the door was closed after that. Otherwise the windows would be closed as per normal.
  9. How did you check your car battery??? Try jump starting it because if you dont have a battery load tester or a hydrometer, you have not tested the car battery.
  10. Not keen on parking our car in a busy car park, plus we both have the flu now so we're pulling out of this one. Someone take some photos!
  11. So is the Y pipe supposed to make the car sound better or give more power? Im assuming minimal power gain?
