<p>
	this is a copy and paste from another forum as my build has been going on for many years, but thought i would finally share it on here.
</p>

<p>
	I have owned the car for since 2002 and until 2007 it was my daily driver and has 254000kms on the body.
</p>

<p>
	during those years the car ended up with:
</p>

<ol><li>
		Link GTS plug-in
	</li>
	<li>
		255L walbro pump
	</li>
	<li>
		VG30 turbo
	</li>
	<li>
		FMIC
	</li>
	<li>
		3" exhaust
	</li>
	<li>
		K&amp;N filter
	</li>
	<li>
		Exedy 5 puk HD clutch
	</li>
</ol><p>
	the car was making 180rwkw's, in 2009 after the car sitting round for two years i decided to turn the car into a more track focused car so i went about buying bits. <br />
	vr4 450cc injectors <br />
	R33 RB25DET gearbox <br />
	nismo 1.5way LSD <br />
	BC red adjustable coilover shocks <br />
	adjustable front and rear camber arms, whiteline sway bars <br />
	adjustable front caster arms, rear "traction" rods <br />
	locked hicas <br />
	racetech 4009w seat <br />
	monza harness and stripped interior
</p>

<p>

<p>
	the car was ready for its track day abuse
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="552490" data-ratio="66.81" width="720" alt="hairpin.jpg.ad94d2ba9e1339a5a3bc6d1143885f8b.jpg" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2019_09/hairpin.jpg.ad94d2ba9e1339a5a3bc6d1143885f8b.jpg" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>
	it survived it's first track day so it got a new set of wheel
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="552491" data-ratio="31.11" width="736" alt="skyline_outside3.jpg.11778e32126182b7e14d29d804ed2751.jpg" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2019_09/skyline_outside3.jpg.11778e32126182b7e14d29d804ed2751.jpg" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>
	and went back for more....
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="552492" data-ratio="149.91" width="533" alt="sad_skyline3.jpg.97dbfeba4d74d31b1f33a20661f7924a.jpg" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2019_09/sad_skyline3.jpg.97dbfeba4d74d31b1f33a20661f7924a.jpg" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>
	i managed to spin every bearing in the bottom end so it was goodbye to the RB20. that was in 2011
</p>

<p>
	this started the long awaited RB30 build that i first started getting bits for in 2004. which has taken 8 years to do (two children, buying a house, getting married all done in that time)
</p>

<p>
	so new parts were purchased:
</p>

<p>
	all the ARP bits:

<p>
	Well I thought I will start a post for my 1998 R34 sedan build. Had the car for a few years and puchased it with only 31XXXk's on the speedo but only just saved up enough to start going all out on a build. Trying to keep it looking as close to stock as possible so to keep the cops away. It is a auto but at the end of the day I drive it easy out on the roads but when I get it on track its a different story. Will eventually go a manual conversion but for now it will do.
</p>

<p>
	Have purchased
</p>

<p>
	-Blitz FMIC
</p>

<p>
	-xspurt 1000cc injectors
</p>

<p>
	-nismo fuel pump
</p>

<p>
	-nismo engine and transmission mounts
</p>

<p>
	-hypergear high flowed turbo. (housing changed to a 21U from OP6)
</p>

<p>
	-Blitz down pipe
</p>

<p>
	-Blitz NUR RX cat back exhaust
</p>

<p>
	-HKS EVCS boost controller, boost gauge and turbo timer
</p>

<p>
	-HKS super suction intake
</p>

<p>
	-z32 afm
</p>

<p>
	-NGK platinum injectors gapped to .8
</p>

<p>
	-Tomei HICAS Electrical lock out kit
</p>

<p>
	-EBC brakes (yellow on the front. red on the back)
</p>

<p>
	-Toyo R888r tyres
</p>

<p>
	-Nistune with flex fuel
</p>

<p>
	So this is all the stuff I currently have waiting to go on the car. The boys from Mocha Crown Automotive doing most of the work except for the electrics. That will be me. The nistune and flex fuel wont be done till Trent from chequered tuning gets hold of it but thats at the end of August
</p>

<p>
	It has a pretty wicked sound system. 2 Alpine V12 amps powering 4 Alpine rseries 6" splitters and a Alpine type R 10" sub woofer.
</p>

<p>
	The head unit is a sony explode but doesnt matter when your running a good set of amps.
</p>

<p>
	Well hopefully at the end of this should see a power output of 250-270kwrs. Will post more pics and the results of the dyno tune as well.
</p>

<p>
	Till then take it easy.
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Before I get into what I got, let me give you a brief backstory...
</p>

<p>
	So, I moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia about 1 year ago to teach and have enjoyed every minute of it.  The car scene out here is crazy!  You have everything from S15 Silvias, R34 GTR Skylines, and every other JDM Fan Boy's wet dream could imagine.  When I first moved here, I was geeking out like anyone else would probably do.  It made me miss my JDM S2000 I had when I was living in Panama City, Panama previous to this.  I started attending local meets, then car shows, and started meeting the locals... but there was one chassis in particular that caught my eye that I had never really known much about until now.
</p>

<p>
	That chassis is none other than the A31 Nissan Cefiro...
</p>

<p>
	Fast-forward to May of this year from when I moved to Malaysia 11 months ago, I picked up this lovely specimen of a Nissan Cefiro.  It's a 1991... BUT... and this is a big BUT... it's not the cool RB20DET drift machine... instead it's Grandpa's grocery getting n/a RB20E... that's right... no turbo... no 5-speed...
</p>

<p>
	The good news is... it's not all beat to hell, it's COMPLETELY stock, and it's basically  screaming for a complete makeover.  The bad news... well, the engine has seen better days.  Let's start off this build story with some photos of when I picked her up...
</p>

<p>
	To when I got her home...
</p>

<p>
	As you can see from some of the photos, the body is in great shape.  The wheels are rather 'meh' but will be changed in due time when my 5-lug swap comes in.  The motor runs, but runs like crap.  Granted, I've already been tinkering with this car for the last month and a bit since I bought it so it's been cleaned up a bit.
</p>

<p>
	First thing I did was rip out the old spark plugs to see if I wasn't getting spark.  This is how each of them looked when I pulled them out of the motor:

	Cylinder 5:<br /><img class="ipsImage" alt="Lp0rgzK.jpg" data-imageproxy-source="https://i.imgur.com/Lp0rgzK.jpg" data-src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://i.imgur.com/Lp0rgzK.jpg&amp;key=6d1287231e4329193f1391eec8e84c0f3f928108310efcbf4cf057e80f2d25a4" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><br />
	Cylinder 6:<br /><img class="ipsImage" alt="vquyMRr.jpg" data-imageproxy-source="https://i.imgur.com/vquyMRr.jpg" data-src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://i.imgur.com/vquyMRr.jpg&amp;key=6f7d1da0012ba8351b4c949c7bb9e17661937c9a832bda3def70e733bd301978" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>
	They looked pretty fouled up and smelled badly of gasoline.  I've heard that's not so uncommon with the RB motors with the blow by issues they have but I still felt it better to swap them out along with a new set of spark plug wires (since the RB20E runs off of a distributor and now coil packs.
</p>

<p>
	I ended up replacing them with a set of NGK Copper Plugs (Part # BCPR5ES-11) and a set of NGK Spark Plug Wires (Part # RC-NX81A).
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage" alt="QcWhhpL.jpg" data-imageproxy-source="https://i.imgur.com/QcWhhpL.jpg" data-src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://i.imgur.com/QcWhhpL.jpg&amp;key=969199e6eb6c49246773fe4598fcffd9da57ca9e890b2cef5421969e5364175e" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>
	I ended up going with copper plugs as they were a lot cheaper and good for up to 20,000km which I don't plan on putting on this motor anyway before I swap it out.  I figured while I was at it, I'd swap in a new PIT WORK Nissan Fuel Filter too (Part # AY505-NS004).
</p>

<p>
	That seemed to help out a bit.  The car was able to turn over but the idle now was pretty high after it warmed up but I figured I'd tackle that one later.  I took advantage and took the Cefiro out for a quick photo session with my buddy Dev's Cefiro too:

<p>
	Fast forward a week later and the alternator decided to take a crap on me.  In all honesty, it was something Dev and I suspected was wrong with my Cefiro from the get go.  We were diagnosing potential issues that could have been wrong with the car and when we were checking the voltage on the fuel pump, we noticed it wasn't getting enough juice.  We figured it was down to either a bad pump, bad wiring, or a bad alternator.  However, the battery was replaced by the previous owner in February so I didn't think it was that.
</p>

<p>
	Luckily, my buddy Dev has an RB25DET ser. 2 motor in his Cefiro and a spare RB25DET sitting in his garage.  We hypothesized that the alternators SHOULD be interchangeable since the blocks are basically identical being RB motors...

<p>
	We took a look at the part numbers and the RB25DET ser. 2 one comes up as: 23100-59S01

<p>
	and the RB20E one is:<br />
	23100-85L00
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage" alt="GCH4zv4.jpg" data-imageproxy-source="https://i.imgur.com/GCH4zv4.jpg" data-src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://i.imgur.com/GCH4zv4.jpg&amp;key=0de3d919006dc564e4b17917708aab0e635b1c44bfe33a4d65cffcfd03865b9d" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>
	Sure enough, the bolt patterns are identical and the connectors as well.  Everything was all plug and play.  However, I did have to pick up a slightly larger accessory belt as the pulley is just a tad bigger on the RB25 alternator.  A nice little upgrade too as the RB25 is quite beefy next to the RB20E one.  Once we got it on, the car cranked right up, still had the high idle issue but it was certainly better than before.
</p>

<p>
	The car was finally driving comfortably.  I felt confident that it was ready to hit the streets.  So, in the mean time, I had been looking into alternative dashboards for the Cefiro.  Since mine has a nice crack on the top, much like where the S13 ones crack on the instrument cluster hood, I figured it was time to see what else was out there.  Here in Malaysia, it's quite common for owners to swap in R32 dashes or R33 dashes.  With the R32 ones, they pretty much bolt up no problem and almost all of the accessories are plug and play.  However, I'm not a fan of how the door cards line up with it.  For the R33 dashes, the owners tend to go that route since it makes the RB25 swap wiring pretty much plug and play but again, it doesn't line up too well with the door cards.  Now, I could have gone the route of getting another Cefiro one but they're really hard to find in good shape here.  So... I stumbled across a dash swap set for sale locally here that I HAVE seen done twice... Once online in New Zealand and another local guy here.
</p>

<p>
	In the end, I ended up electing this swap as I actually am quite pleased with how well it lines up with the door cards:

<p>
	This particular set came off of an NA 5-Speed S15 front clip.  It came with most everything I will need to make the swap.  From what I read from the guy in NZ who did the swap, it only requires a bit of trimming around the pillars in order for it to fit so fingers crossed!  I still need to give it a good scrubbing as it's been sitting for who knows how long.  It's not in perfect condition but for now, it'll work.  I can always replace some of the scratched pieces later with newer ones.
</p>

<p>
	Fast forward to where we are now.  The car was driving nicely for a few days until out of nowhere, it started to bog really badly and lose power.  I first noticed it on the incline of my parking garage.  It's not the gas level as I had filled the tank a few days prior to the bogging issues.  It's not the MAF (not that I think) as I also replaced it with one the previous owner gave me.  I also used MAF cleaner on it to clean it out before I swapped it over.
</p>

<p>
	This leads me to my previous thought before I changed the alternator.  Either the wiring is bad or the pump is bad.  So, I went ahead and pulled the pump.  I fully expected to find the dirtiest fuel pump ever.  To my surprise, I found out that it was already changed with an aftermarket Bosch fuel pump.  I compared it to the OEM one that I bought when I initially thought it was the pump to compare the size difference:

<p>
	As you can see, the pump is quite a bit smaller but probably flows better than the OEM one.  In fact, I was checking some other threads on S13/S14 owners that hard wire their aftermarket pumps because the wiring just can't maintain the constant amount of voltage required to power those pumps.  THAT could be why my voltage was off when I checked it initially... well that and the crappy alternator it had.  I'm thinking the guy put in an aftermarket pump because it was readily available but the wiring isn't able to maintain the constant power it needs to power it.
</p>

<p>
	As it sits right now, the pump is about ready to get swapped in.  I just purchased everything I need to hard wire the fuel pump to a separate relay.  I'll be swapping it in on Sunday so if all goes well... the Cefiro should be alive and running!

<p>
	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I'm new to this whole Skyline thing but I've had a few Nissan's in my time,
</p>

<p>
	Car History<br>
	- Holden VX Calais<br>
	- Nissan Silvia S15  - Spent too much time and money on it<br>
	- Toyota Cressida <br>
	- Nissan SIlvia S13 - Bought to play with but ended up selling<br>
	- Toyota Surf<br>
	- BMW E39 M5<br>
	- Nissan Silvia S13<br>
	- Toyota Landcruiser VDJ76<br>
	- Honda Civic ED - Sedan (for sale btw)<br>
	- Nissan Skyline R33 Sedan
</p>

<p>
	So long story short I wasted alot of money on cars and now I'm broke, so I decided to start paying off my debt but I got bored of my Civic... So I decided to buy an R33 Sedan.
</p>

<p>
	Not much to say<br>
	- Rattle Canned Black (or poorly painted)<br>
	- Funky wiring from 23 years of funky fingers touching it<br>
	- Sway Bars<br>
	- Automatic<br>
	- Exhaust<br><br>
	So pretty much making this to ask for some tips/where to buy stuff and so on.
</p>

<p>
	Things to do:<br>
	- I need to replace the drivers side doors because the previous owner cut off a moped (have replacements)<br>
	- Figure out why it's almost stalling (might be due to the auto trans being overfilled)<br>
	- Locate S2 Front end and Side Skirts<br>
	- Paint
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	Here's the bucket
</p>

<p>here is my draw dropping taxi, this has been my project since nov '12 and it makes girls wet</p>
<p>i bought this with the following mods:</p>
<p>RB25DET S2 Mod plated<br>RB25 Box<br>One piece tail shaft<br>ISC coilovers camber tops<br>Front Strut brace<br>Fmic</p>
<p>boost controller<br>3' exhaust from dump back<br>Stock turbo setup<br>17x7 wheels</p>
<p>and this is what it looks like!</p>
<p><a href="http://s286.photobucket.com/user/qwertyjunior/media/LaurelCC_zpsc72f74ad.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="LaurelCC_zpsc72f74ad.jpg" data-src="http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll84/qwertyjunior/LaurelCC_zpsc72f74ad.jpg"></a></p>
<p>so, story went i couldn't actually keep the car at my place cause my landlord was complaining about how many draws it would drop so it stayed in this lovely garage untill i moved</p>
<p><a href="http://s286.photobucket.com/user/qwertyjunior/media/734985_514186861934738_501380251_n_zps7a935bf5.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="734985_514186861934738_501380251_n_zps7a" data-src="http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll84/qwertyjunior/734985_514186861934738_501380251_n_zps7a935bf5.jpg"></a></p>
<p>I couldn't actually drive it until april as i was a p plater untill then, so it was garage life for a while.</p>
<p>Anyway so i started buying things for it, and i bought a 5 stud conversion with S14 fronts with slotted rotors and S14 LCA's for 20mm extra lock and R32 rear for the individual handbrake you know?</p>
<p><a href="http://s286.photobucket.com/user/qwertyjunior/media/IMG_0367_zps6b5123ca.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="IMG_0367_zps6b5123ca.jpg" data-src="http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll84/qwertyjunior/IMG_0367_zps6b5123ca.jpg"></a></p>
<p>then acquired VSKFs! Hopefully they fit all flush with camber and minor guard work but we'll see 17x9.5 + 26 and 17x9.5 + 28</p>

<p>Jeremy's A31 Cefiro
</p>
<p>
	Hey everyone. I'm new to Nissan's with this A31 Cefiro, but luckily, I'm in the motherland <img alt=":laugh:" data-emoticon="" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" title=":laugh:" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/default_laugh.png">. I just picked up this Cefy, and luckily she is old enough for me to take her with me when I have to leave in September.  Nothing definitely solid as far as plans for her yet, but I do kinda have a general idea.  For now I'm going to stick with the RB20DET she came with since that will make it easier for me to ship and import if I have to go back to the US.  So for now I'm looking to do cams, injectors, and a bigger turbo, along with a standalone ECU.  Haven't decided just yet on the interior, but I really like the look and feel of the Bride Euroster seats.  The car is pretty much bone stock other than some basic audio upgrades.  Anyway, here she is.

<p>
	Hi guys,
</p>

<p>
	I decided to start my build thread here at SAU.com.au as mentioned in my introduction thread a few weeks ago.
</p>

<p>
	The car was imported from Japan in 2014. Completely OEM (RB25DET NEO, AT, Sedan, KR4, built in 1998, 50220km). No modifications were made, which was very important for me. A few scratches and small dents here and there... nothing special.
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileid="535709" href="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/IMAG1842.jpg.67941b2719a74f7e655a619db425af9b.jpg" rel=""><img alt="IMAG1842.thumb.jpg.7917ca288c5a7f050900c55ef1db2f8b.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="535709" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" style="width:350px;height:auto;" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/IMAG1842.thumb.jpg.7917ca288c5a7f050900c55ef1db2f8b.jpg" data-ratio="56.56"></a>
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileid="535710" href="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/IMAG1847.jpg.d3f4d9c3618750b1af6821c42e2c9c15.jpg" rel=""><img alt="IMAG1847.thumb.jpg.b0d0c4d3fac062e3d0573af2cbffa9a0.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="535710" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" style="width:350px;height:auto;" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/IMAG1847.thumb.jpg.b0d0c4d3fac062e3d0573af2cbffa9a0.jpg" data-ratio="56.56"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Due to the standards for registration here in Germany several things had to be done. This includes new lenses with an e-number (certified registration within the EU) for the headlights, a rear fog-lamp and new tires with an e-number, too. After that the car was ready for German streets.
</p>

<p>
	In 2015 I bought a new Blitz Nur Spec RX as a replacement for the factory one and Nismo indicators.
</p>

<p>
	It was a little strange to me that all the stickers (timing belt change, oil change, ...) were removed. And now comes the very - and with very I really mean fu**ing very very very very - bad thing about the car... The odometer reading was manipulated. During the change of the air purifier I've found a small sticker in the glovebox which says "Filter change at 86.xxx km" and a Japanese date (April/May 2009). Via the page japaneseodometercheck.com I figured out the correct odometer reading, which was around 100.218km at the time I bought the car. After that I decided to check the compression ratio of the engine. Well... guess what? Yes! They were not as good as expected.
</p>

<p>
	In this moment I thought "God damn it! Let's drive the car intil the engine doesn't work anymore. Fu** off!". To my astonishment the engine survived 2015 and 2016. During the off season (October 2015 until April 2016) the transmission was swapped from AT to MT with parts of an wrecked ER34. I've done this by myself because I wanted to widen my skills and knowledge.
</p>

</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileid="535712" href="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/IMG_20160319_174738.jpg.41b092ba06a6fc7c7046a8dd58f78e67.jpg" rel=""><img alt="IMG_20160319_174738.thumb.jpg.60b935a0fa0e053ca8ff60f74b9de444.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="535712" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" style="width:300px;height:auto;" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/IMG_20160319_174738.thumb.jpg.60b935a0fa0e053ca8ff60f74b9de444.jpg" data-ratio="133.33"></a>
</p>

<p>
	(That buddy really grew me some grey hair :D)
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	From March 2017 until August 2017 the engine was completely overhauled. Due to that process some aftermarket parts were fitted as well. <img alt=";)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" srcset="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" title=";)" width="20" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/default_wink.png"></p>

<p>
	The car now looks like this:
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileid="535713" href="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/21587186_1491875224213038_3463246758906226593_o.jpg.9f165b5c8f5520020c0101a8412f4b63.jpg" rel=""><img alt="21587186_1491875224213038_3463246758906226593_o.thumb.jpg.0bded62023c4a7284f193756fb3692cd.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="535713" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" style="width:500px;height:auto;" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/monthly_2018_01/21587186_1491875224213038_3463246758906226593_o.thumb.jpg.0bded62023c4a7284f193756fb3692cd.jpg" data-ratio="56.25"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Let's see what will happen to it in 2018. A few parts are stored in my garage... <img alt=":)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" srcset="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/default_smile.png"></p>

<p>
	If you want me to post my spec list just let me know.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Regards

<p>So she was a little dirty but after a little clean up came out alright. </p>
<p>She has the following done:</p>
<p>Engine: RB25DET Neo</p>
<p>Transmission: RB25DET</p>
<p>ECU: Power FC</p>
<p>Turbo: VG30 hiflowed on standard manifold</p>
<p>Suspension: Tien coilovers all round</p>
<p>Other mods: FMIC, 3' exhaust, Splitfire coilpacks, 640cc injectors (havent confirmed?), full cage! </p>
<p>All the mods are modplated and all legal (mostly <img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt=";)" srcset="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/default_wink.png"> )</p>
<p>All the work was done in Japan before it was imported for my pleasure. </p>
<p>Couple little things I needed to attend to...like speedo not working, lack of clear on the LHR quarter and respray the front bar. </p>
<p>Was super happy how this thing went for a Nissan, believe it or not i didn't even have to pop the bonnet for 2 weeks!</p>
<p>Took it to a track day and had a blast. Beat alot of things, got beaten by alot also </p>

<p>Being the apprentice at Hi-Power Racing in QLD was time for a little touch up tune to clean it up a little. Learnt alot from that. Need to look at another turbo setup in the near future. Maxing power output at around 15psi. </p>

<p>Plans for the future arent too crazy. Thinking,</p>
<p>High mount manifold</p>
<p>Forward facing plenum</p>
<p>GTX35r</p>
<p>Fuel system for e85 or eflex</p>
<p>5 stud conversion </p>
<p>One thing i can say is i really enjoy something so unique that everyone can enjoy and appreciate as much as I do. It is turning me into a bit of a photo whore though. <img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt=":yucky:" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/default_yucky.gif"></p>

<div>Hi all, name is Madhav. Originally from Perth but moved to Thailand a few years back.</div>
<br><div> </div>
<br><div>Been living here in Koh Samui for a few years, have discovered there is actually a pretty mad modified car scene in Thailand. Locals love to modify JDM cars. However the real bonus is that there are no speed cameras where I live and the police couldn't give a shit, can pretty much do whatever I want without being bothered. For example I frequently overtake police cars where I live and they couldn't care less. </div>
<br><div> </div>
<br><div>I started looking to buy a car with a budget of about AU$6-7k to spend. Wanted something turbo, manual, reasonably lightweight and with good possibility of upgrading to make more power. Found the A31 cefiros to be a common tuner car here. </div>
<br><div> </div>
<br><div>The Thai people love to smash RB25's and toyota 1J and 2J engines in them (even saw a few with 1UZ engines). Found this one and had it checked out by a mechanic and it all came back ok. My previous car was a mk 4 supra with a single setup, so was more comfortable 2JZ. Easy to make big power is an added bonus.</div>

<p>Hey guys, thought id post up a bit of a build thread.</p>
<p>After blowing up the sr in my s14 track car for the second time, and having owned 2 cefiro's before hand, was stinging to get back into a RB 4 door</p>
<p>Picked it up few months ago as a roller, has r33 brakes and 5 stud, coilovers, uraids kit and not much else. </p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="cefpickup.jpg" data-src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e394/glens14/cefpickup.jpg"></p>
<p>Not too keen on the black boot and bonnet, and uras kit either, but its a start!</p>
<p>Pic with my wheels off the s14</p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="cef1.jpg" data-src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e394/glens14/cef1.jpg"></p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="cef2.jpg" data-src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e394/glens14/cef2.jpg"></p>
<p>Picked up a r32 for the driveline, keen to stick with the rb20 for now, chasing reliability, and I know they can take a thrashing!!</p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="r32front.jpg" data-src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e394/glens14/r32front.jpg"></p>
<p>Sold most of the parts off, including gbox, motor pretty much cost nothing by the end of it.</p>
<p>32 had a few goodies, hks boost controller, blitz bov, split dump, and a almost new HD clutch.</p>
<p>Picked up a rb25 gearbox, as the cef had a 25 setup befor, so the tailshaft suits already.</p>
<p>Gave the rb20 a bit of a birthday, new seals, water pump, timing belt, adjustable cam gears and a good clean, and all new exhaust studs, 4 broken ones too <img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt=":/" srcset="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" data-src="//cdn.sau.com.au/emoticons/default_confused.gif"> that was fun fixing that.</p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="rb20.jpg" data-src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e394/glens14/rb20.jpg"></p>

<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="rb20after.jpg" data-src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e394/glens14/rb20after.jpg"></p>
<p>Also picked up a r33 turbo, for that little extra.</p>
<p>Thats where the drive line is at, atm hopefully have the motor and box together next weekend and in the car.</p>
<p>Still need to clean engine room, and de hicas it (lock bar already installed, but want to remove back of pump, and all stuff in bay)</p>
<p>Picked up a few new rims too, manaray vr5's in 18 by 9.5, +35, dont sit too bad, and kinda make the uras kit look a bit better. Still not sure. I picked up a autech front and sides and a stock rear bar, will more than likely run that on the street, blends in a bit more. But need to get the motor/box in and running first!!</p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="cefrims.jpg" data-src="http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e394/glens14/cefrims.jpg"></p>
<p>Still alot to do, tidy up interior, motor box loom install and hook up, the list is a long one. </p>
<p>Also, I seem to have a electronic rear vision mirror, will get pics, my first two didnt have them, and my mates cefiro's haven't got that either, anyone else?? Its got a auto dim function by the looks of it, hope it works!!</p>
<p>Anyway, constructive comments welcome!!</p>

<p>So i got rid of my Maxima and replaced it with this bad boy. For the price it was going for, its condition and the options it has, I couldn't say no.</p>
<p>Its an 89 model, RB20E Auto, 76xxx kms seem genuine.</p>
<p>Panels are all good bar one (pending fix), the paint is shit especially on the bumpers and there's a few spots of rust.</p>
<p>Runs mint though, has been looked after really well, the air con still works.</p>
<p>Needed to pick myself up a nice car to cruise around in. Having a work car is awesome, but a manual hilux with radio only certainly never fits when you want to go for a drive late at night or on the weekend.</p>
<p>Options include:</p>
<p>Factory sunroof w/ shade + logo</p>
<p>ABS (unusual for pre - xNA31s)</p>
<p>Optional fabric interior (still pretty bleh, but better than standard)</p>
<p>Extra bling lining down the doors.</p>

<p>Hey everyone!</p>
<p>Im new member on here and though id post up my R32 Sedan. Ive had it for about a year now and its slowly come together and ive learnt alot about car setup and driving etc being my first car and all ive done alrite couple of things i might change but so far so good.</p>
<p>MOTOR:</p>
<p>RB20DET </p>
<p>Xtreme Ceramic Clutch</p>
<p>GTR Front Mount</p>
<p>GTR Fuel Pump</p>
<p>Pod Filter</p>
<p>Turbosmart Type 2 BOV </p>
<p>3"in Turbo Back Exhaust ( Straight through no mufflers nothing )</p>
<p>2.5" Twin Straight Pipes Rear </p>
<p>SUSPENSION: </p>
<p>HSD Coilovers 10/8</p>
<p>Whiteline 22mm Front Swaybar ( Adjustable )</p>
<p>GTR Rear Swaybar</p>
<p>Poly Urethane SwayBar Bushes All Round </p>
<p>Castor Rods</p>
<p>Rear Upper Arms</p>
<p>Traction Rods</p>
<p>HICAS Lock Bar</p>
<p>Cusco Strut Brace</p>
<p>Rear Cradle Bushes </p>
<p>INSIDE:</p>
<p>Bride Zeta</p>
<p>Trust Harnnes</p>
<p>320mm Nardi</p>
<p>Detachable Boss Kit</p>
<p>Jap Rear Veiw Mirror</p>
<p>GTR Passenger Seat </p>
<p>Here are some picks of when i first got it and just put in my HSD Coilovers. Back when i thought super low cars were cool but soon found out they handeld like crap...</p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="12.jpg" data-src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z52/JDM32/12.jpg"></p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="6-2.jpg" data-src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z52/JDM32/6-2.jpg"></p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="11.jpg" data-src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z52/JDM32/11.jpg"></p>
<p>Then i lost my licence, so id though id chage the look too GTR front conversion, I got all the panels at different times and was unlucky about missing out on a pair of silver front gaurds but soon enough it will get painted one day but thats not inportant right now and it didnt really cost that much either to do... </p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="1.jpg" data-src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z52/JDM32/1.jpg"></p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="5-1.jpg" data-src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z52/JDM32/5-1.jpg"></p>
<p>And after 5 months have past and 3 days of having my licence back i still had my grove, the new setup i have now is great having everything adjustable and a good wheel alingment all works a treat im pretty happy how the car is atm... </p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="1-1.jpg" data-src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z52/JDM32/1-1.jpg"></p>
<p><img src="https://www.sau.com.au/forums/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt="3-1.jpg" data-src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z52/JDM32/3-1.jpg"></p>
<p>So now im going to do an engine conversion it will take some time so ill still get some more track time and so forth before the new motor goes in. I was going just to do RB25 gear box and one piece tailshalft but then a RB25 motor came up for a reasonable price.</p>
<p>Ill keep everyone posted on whats going on etc so for now enjoy</p>
<p>Jase...</p>
