Hey guys,

Just getting my head around the offset required for an R34 GTT. I've searched a few topics, got some ideas, but others tend to run different widths than I want to.

So I was thinking of getting a set of Lenso D1R's in the following size:

Front 18 x 8.5" - +35 offset

Rear 18 x 9" - +32 offset

Tyres i'd organise later, but probably something around 235 on the front and 255 on the rear.

I'd prefer NOT to get my guards rolled. Currently the car has stock suspension, and If I do lower it a bit, it'll be only with slightly lower springs, maybe 2cm lower... not sure on that yet.

Anyways, would that combo work ok?

I bought a cheapish paint thickness gauge and the bonnet is reading anywhere from 4.7mil to 1.9 mil. The doors are pretty consistent at 2ish mil and no way of testing the plastic.
is it possible a machine could cause these types of variances or is this been done by hand?
Any help on what to look for would be great. I'm in Newcastle nsw if anyone is close and can help.

Hi everyone,

My diffuser (not genuine, carbon fibre, came with the car when it bought it, I don't even like the carbon fibre look) is completely smashed.

Whats the difference between a genuine front diffuser compared to, lets say a JSAI front diffuser (fibreglass)?

Is the genuine more durable compared to the fibreglass one?

Trying to justify if it's worth buying a genuine diffuser.

Also, out of curiosity, what diffuser do you guys run? Genuine or a copy?

	Hey all,

So I might just be a bit slow but wanted to check how these pedals are supposed to be installed. My R32 brake and clutch pedal are held on by a rubber portion and the accelerator by a clip. I got a set of old Nismo pedals that came with little screws/nuts but wanted to know how these are supposed to be mounted. Am I supposed to screw them on top of/into my current pedals? I don't see how they would be installed as complete replacements with the hardware that came with them. The R34 aluminum pedals on the other hand seem to be direct replacements as they look like metal versions of the regular rubber ones.

	Hey guys,

Recently got into a sticky situation with my car and I'm in the need of new corner lights. The thing with my GTS-T is the previous owner put on the GTR hood, grill, headlights, and bumper. I can't really tell if the fenders and corner lights have been converted so I'm not sure if I should be looking for GTR or GTS-T Indicators. Here's a pic for reference.

Also has anybody seen or heard of anybody besides ZLED that converts corner lights to LEDs like this?

Hi guys,

I'll start of by saying I'm no professional, really I'm doing this just to improve my solid works skills and hopefully end up with a replacement set of centre caps I can use. But I am planning on 3D printing a set of Ray's centre caps to fit lmgt 2's ( may fit 1's aswell?) as anyone with the caps know the plastic gets brittle and the mounting tabs snap off! I have seen sets go for over $600 in good condition... But really they are still 20 years old . All going well the final product will be made of abs plastic ( unless anyone has an opinion for otherwise?) yet to see wether there will be the ability to colour match to the originals otherwise more than likely black , cost I am unsure of yet.... I was going to see if there is any interest first so I could enquire for x amount of caps and see what happens but hoping around half the cost. All the dimensions and measurements are being taken from a genuine centre cap and I will get a mock cap made up first to ensure fit.

Is this something anyone/ones would be interested in? Nothing final just a gauge of interest at this stage.

Thanks!

R34 GTT Window Rubber/Seal/Moulding/Glazing Replacement?

	Hi guys

I'm busy trying to restore my R34 GTT to immaculate condition. I want to replace the rubber seal that goes on the windscreen at the bottom. I looks dried up from the sun and caused it to warp and break. I've attached photos. I would like to know where I can get my hands on something like this as I would like to replace it.

Also, on the driver and passenger window upper seals, there seems to be a line of glue that was left behind from previous owners putting wind deflector/visor guards on it. How would I get this off the rubber? Also, there seems to be a huge gap between the rubber and the frame. Is that normal on R34s? Could I just replace it? And how would you restore all the rubber seals so it looks brand new?

Got my hands on a R32 projector from a broken headlight, so I bought some spare lenses with different height to play with. I am keeping my factory setup anyways but just curious if modern lens can improve anything compared to the 30 year old one. I wasn't expecting much out of this experiment, but one did result in a nice surprise.

Using a 6V lantern battery, these are the results.

Very good cut line with the Q5-R lens. Now I will see if I can find someone with H3C sized HID to try on.

Hey guys,

Looking at getting some N1 side skirts and trust rear pods for my R32 GTR. I take it that you can no longer buy the genuine product new and finding them second hand seems very difficult as I have seen no one selling in a long time.

Is there any GOOD non genuine N1 skirts and trust rear pods that are very high quality that you would recommend buying from. I don't mind spending the money if it means that I get a superior product. Any help would be great.

Thanks

	Hi all

I've found threads for what size is the best for r34 gtr skylines but found a few different answers for this question. I've just put down a deposit for a new set of lmgt4 wheels. I'm undecided which size would be the best 18x10.5+15 with 275/35 or would 18x9.5+12 be better as it's closer to stock size? Just want to know if I go with 18x10.5 would they rub? Some people say yes some say no. I'm not using the car for track which im told 18x10.5 would be fine. The car is currently stock height, am going to get coilovers as soon as i get them.but yeah Just looking for any opinions/experience that anyone has had with these sizes. Thank you

	Hi guys!

Just picked up my r33 gtr a couple of weeks ago. I wanna know what kind of kit is on it? I think the front is a 400r style one. No idea what the skirts and rear spats are? The spats seem a lot larger than other ones I have seen.

At first I wasn't too keen on the sideskirts but they are growing on me.

Any ideas on what I should do next body wise? Was thinking of keeping the front bar and find factory rear spats and factory sideskirts.

So I'm pretty sure most have seen the Nismo edition R35 with the red striping that ads some flair and definition to lower areas of the car. Looks sharp in my opinion. A lot of R35 owners say that they do it with pinstripe tape if they don't want to shell out for an OEM kit.

So my question is, has anybody tried or seen something similar on an R32 GTR? That is, accent striping on the front lip, side skirts, and rear bumper. My imagination says it could work nicely but then again my imagination often betrays me. Throw up some pics if you got them. Might even fiddle around in a Forza livery editor or something!

Hi all, received a new old stock set of Enkei/AMEs in the post today and these 4 things were in one of the boxes. I literally have no idea what they are, probably due to the fact every car I've ever owned has had the factory steelies or the standard alloys, I've never had any sort of aftermarket wheels on any car at all. They split into two parts and have a thread. Think it has something to do with the centre caps but not entirely sure.

	Hi there,

I am in the process of figuring out a front bar for my R32 GTST. I am aware that GTR front bars can fit with modification, but I am not wanting to do that, and they are rare as hens teeth where I'm from (NZ).

What are your thoughts on the front bars (GTR-ST) from JSAI and KMAK Aero? GTST size but R32 shape (vents, grills, bottom lip etc). Has anyone had any experiece with either?

	Hello gents!

@ThePurpR34 here, so I purchased this R34 GTT earlier this year. I have essentially been tackling the things the previous owner did/did not do to better fit the car to my standards.

According to him it is a front gtr z-tune bumper and z-tune hood YET clearly the fitment is not proper. As you can tell from the picture, the grille part of the bumper seems to be a straight line whereas the hood curves up for the grille area creating the gap.

What kind of hood will fix this fitment issue? From looking it looks as though an oem gtr hood would fix?
