Hey, a music forum page here, cool!

I am thinking that surely some Skyline heads who like their cars with speed, power, and grunt, who would like their music the same way? The two go well together. Try listening to some ripping speed / thrash / death metal while ripping up the road in a speed machine, Hehehe, what a blast.

Been into metal since my good ol' high school days (and I'm pushing 50 now, how some things never change) , and listen to it all (well, most of it all, as there's some stuff that some people call metal, which I do not) from classic metal, to power metal (I'm talking real power, not the flowery false stuff) , speed / thrash, and death metal. Will be good to see some other metal heads here. I'll post some play lists soon. Won't be light reading though, Hehehe.

Ok, so its not music, but I'm asking in here cause it's the closest of all the sub forums to my question.

I want to get some wireless TV headphones so I can watch the cricket without hearing Meghan Trainor.

I don't want to spend big bucks, under $100 if possible.

What should I look for? FM ones seem a little antiquated. I think Bluetooth would be better. My TV is not Bluetooth, so i'd need to get a dongle thing with them. Also, how do I disable BT headphones? Do I need to switch anything on the transmitter or can I just turn the headphones off?

	Thanks all.

Simple concept, what is your all-time favourite album and why?

Personally, I would have to say Conspiracy of One by The Offspring. Not a bad album, have always loved the Intro track followed by Come out Swinging straight after. Really sets the whole album up.

Their sound isn't exactly unique by any means, but a band of Aboriginal dudes rocking out like this is seriously cool to me.

Ok, if time was irrelevant what top 5 artists would you like to see live? Only 5, artist and year/decade please!!

For me its:

1. King Crimson late '70's

2. Led Zeppelin late 70's

3 Smashing Pumpkins 90's

4. Porcupine Tree 2010ish is fine

5. Howlin' Wolf 60's

Notice how it gets harder as you go down the list!!!

Would have said Black Sabbath but I have now crossed that off my bucket list. And to think of all the artists I've missed out on in that list - so hard.

Was talking about this with my wife tonight. My biggest impacting one hit wonder is....

Deelite's Groove is in the heart.

It's played everywhere even these days, 16 years after its release. Despite big names on the track including Bootsy Collins and QTip they couldn't back it up.

It had and still has massive impact all over the world. It's huge and will continue to be for a long time.

What's yours?

best: greenday (homebake brisbane - 2000 iirc) great set, then poured something flamable onto their guitars, drum kit etc, lit it on fire, trashed their equipment. Needless to say they were escorted off stage by security

worst: blink 182 big day out 2001 - played 2 or 3 songs in an hour set. talked about their penis' until eventually booed off stage (people started pegging shoes, bottles etc at them)

So, sometimes you hear an album from an artist or band that you had some kind of predisposition to and you were surprised that you dug it.

For me its a lot of Cold Chisel's work. Growing up they were never played in our house and we kinda made fun of the bogan-ness of them.

Another one would be the Metalica Black album.

Ok, not talking torrents or illegal downloads here, and not promoting one band or singer or business.

The music has to be free and legal with multiple streams and artists.

Please state genre and age in your answer so we all know what to expect.

One I visit a lot is:

http://soundaboard.blogspot.com.au/

genre is mixed but leaning more to blues and heavy rock. Live performances by many well known artists that are outside copyright. Predominantly '60's to 2000's.

I like it because you often hear good live improvisations and solo's that haven't been recorded elsewhere.
