Its a free image/photo editor written by a heap of geeks.  I have used Photoshop CS4 ages ago but GIMP is just as good for general users like me.  Plus PS was a pirate version cos the actual software package cost was huge for a hobbyist. Its a pretty impressive package given that it is free.

Anyway, I have just done a couple of designs, made some vector art, transparencies, and some photo editing.  It also has some great 'how to' tutorials on youtube .

Was wondering if anyone else had used it.

Anyway, so there is two pictures I'd like to get cleaned up on some dirt from the roads (the car color is white)

And I tried the Spot healing tool, but it doesnt want to do what I want it to do really...

Im using Photoshop CS6, any ideas how I easilly can get the original white color on the dirt too, without it looking stupid?

Photoshop is something I use to procrastinate while studying for exams.lol

I'm shithouse at Photoshop and wondering if anyone here could help. I'm after an image for my head unit in the car. I did manage to make a basic one but I don't know how to make it wider and fill the whole screen. The image needs to be 2048x1536.

Basically I just want to make a black background with the nismo logo in the middle of the image. The older logo with the solid red o.

I am just stuffing around with some designs and was wondering if anyone has the time to send me this image but with just the black outline... i.e delete the grey areas and just run the actual outline of the car and the body panels etc, more interested in the bottom 2 but if its easy enough maybe do all?

I dont know if there is a clearer version online or not to help with this, like i said at this stage i am just playing around with an idea for the club

I use this gtr base and start downgrading it back to a Gtst. I have to get the front bar edited and hopefully put an intercooler in then window tinting etc..

so if anyone is into pixel cars as well do share your work. I find this very time consuming but the final piece is pretty worth it.

We are still looking for more fashion oriented type designs. These items need to be sellable at stalls at events as well as the SAU Online store.

it seems the direction we are trying to take people down has not quite been reached at this stage. Some examples of the ones that are getting close to the mark are as follows to give you an idea of what we are thinking.

Unfortunately a lot of the designs were not marketable, and that's the key aim of this - to promote and further SAU

Just to re-cap:

We are looking for the following items only at this stage:

3 x fashion t-shirt designs - Can be front only, or front/rear designs

1 x long sleeve shirt designs (for motorsport boys) - SAU logo or variation on left breast, incorporate the URL and whatever else

1 x hoodie design - Free range here, go as mild or wild as you like

1 x cap design - A good cap design is simple, but effective. Cap will need to have URL on it.

Cash that will be given out for designs chosen listed below. You will also get a free merchandise item that your design goes onto

t-shirt: $100ea ($300 total)

Long sleeve: $100

Hoodie: $100

Cap: $80

For the Motorsport tops, please leave the sleeves spare. The plan is to put SAU Trader logo's down the arms for those that would like to come on-board. They will be supplied to whomever at a later stage once we decide on the designs.

So please get to your designs and post them in this thread. Christian will have the ultimate say, however there will be a 'shortlist' of a few designs, which will then feature in a Poll to gauge interest.

Looking for a creative designer to whip me up a logo to be used on a website etc.

I'm planning on buying a nismo r-tune style bonnet in the next few weeks but am undecided between spraying it or leaving it all carbon.

I have already gotten some carbon wings for the. At and I'm thinking of spraying them too.

Anyway, what I was thinking of doing was to just leave the vents on the bonnet in carbon like on the purple one below, could someone please photoshop a bayside blue one for me if they have the time.
