Hey guy I’m building a Rb25det s1 with a forged and balanced bottom end . I’m aiming for about 350-400rwhp. was just wondering how much the stock Rb25det s1 head can handle in regards to rev change and hp and if it’s worth changing to solid lifters

also if anyone has any info on better springs and and valves

Looking for more bang for buck here. Goal is 270rwkws w/stock internals rb25det and I'd imagine close to 20psi. With all the other obvious bolt ons taken care of- what will give me a better power curve for the money? An adjustable exhaust cam gear or drop in tomei poncams? Or better to just save money and spend elsewhere? I think I'd be happy with at least 10kws gained in the band, but more than that and I'd definitely buy one or the other depending on the answers I get. Cheers

	Hello guys!

I crashed my BNR34 last month and trying to fix it now but, there is no any stock of parts that is front side member (parts number 7510024U30 and 7510124U30 ).
Fortunately, I could get front closing plates (parts number 75131-24U00 and 75132-05U05) but couldn’t get main side members.
So, I can’t fix my car anymore... I searched some information and found out that Bcnr33, Enr34 are using same front side member. However, those of side members are sold out or discontinued. Does anybody have ideas for fix my car, could you help me please. (Sorry for my bad English)

	thank you

A while back I got my power steering rack rebuilt and I reinstalled it - but I noticed its now leaking. On closer inspection it looks like its coming from where the pipes meet the assembly

Being a newbie I never bothered replacing the copper washers as I never had any... part number is 49726 - Does anybody know what size these copper washers are ID & OD - do they need to be genuine parts or could I buy from Repco and the like...

Also I've noticed that there are some O'rings part number 49345A again I may have missed these but they look like a copper washer - Can any body tell me what size they are can I buy them from Repco.

When I googled the part numbers - they seem to also appear as Nissan Pathfinder parts - are some R32 parts compatible with the Pathfinder?

	Hi there,

I bought a R34, which was converted auto to manual in Japan. Apparently the previous owner put a rb20 gearbox in it 😢

I must say, it drives pretty good and clutch feels great.... But I know they're not strong as a rb25det box.

Is there any other reason then to just save money, that could've been why the previous owner chose a rb20 box over rb25?

Last question, if I would want to put a rb25 box in it... Best to get a R33 gtst? Or R34 gtt. I know the R34 clutches are pretty expensive. And maybe the propshaft is different?

	Advice is welcome. Thank you!

	Hello world!
I'm new here so please don't get mad at me for asking.
What i need, and i hope some of you know this is the CAM timing for the RB26DETT engine.
More specific i need:

the angle at witch the intake valve opens

the angle at witch the intake valve closes

the angle at witch the exhaust valve opens

the angle at witch the exhaust valve closes

	Lobe Separation Angle

	and the advance.

All i know by now is: camshaft duration 240°in, 236°ex lift: 8.58mm in, 8.28mm ex

I can't find anywhere the data that i need and i can't determine it either.
I've attached a photo with the stock camshaft.
All of this is for a school project, i currently study Automotive Engineering and i would like to simulate the RB26DETT engine.
Thank you very much!

	Hello!

Nothing is wrong with my car, all gauges read correctly, the car fees responsive, and it overall is functional and great.

However, with the cold temperatures, I noticed there is smoke coming out of my hood (the hood is vented) but I thought it must’ve been my valve cover filters that are venting to the atmosphere. I checked and to my surprise I found a whole substance on the exhaust manifold and turbo flange. I’m guessing it might be a leak? What do you guys think?

	Hello Everyone,

	I have:
New Mishimoto Radiator
New Mishimoto Electric and Shroud (came with ONE fan)... wired professionally from a ignition source from the Fuse Box and wired with its own fuse and relay.
New Mishimoto Colder range Thermostat

and YET! it still overheats in 10 mins on the street with regular driving either and day 29 degrees C or Night 27 degrees C

The Dash Board's Temperature gauge will slowly climb to about 75% to the top and then at a certain point will start slowing jumping up and down and up and down from 75% to 95% (overheating).

	I was told that:
-The single electric fan is ass and cant cool the radiator so go back to the clutch fan and shroud.
-The Thermostat is faulty/not working. replace it and one guy even said dont even use one. I live in the Caribbean by the way...
-When switching over to a GReddy Forward Facing Plenum, the coolant temp sensor could have been damaged/stop working. But the engine bay is HOT!

	Hey All,

I have had a quick look but couldn't find anything too specific - what should be the essential tools for an r32 Glove box tool kit?

So far I have 8 and 10mm screwdriver sockets, pliers, side cutters, a Toyota flat/Phillips screwdriver combo, electrical tape and zip ties (of course).

Is there any other tool/s that will help for a roadside emergency?

	Hello,

I have recently purchased a 91 gts-t, I was told that it had a rb25 block and a rb20 head. The block has a cast number of 08U. If someone could help me identify this block and maybe tell me where to look for identifying numbers for the head I would be in your debt.

	Thanks.

I realise this has been done before but having disappeared down the rabbit hole I am thoroughly confused.

Most of the old SAU threads have busted photo bucket photos or confuse the mode door (ie where the air goes to) with the mix door (Which controls how hot it is). I have a shiney new mode door actuator (Part #27731-53E00 I believe, photo attached) off ebay in Japan for a half reasonable price. The mix door is possibly discontinued? (Part number 2773201U00). Also drawing 27733NA is used for Im not quite sure what but matches other cars.

Can someone please confirm the part number is correct for an R32 GTR, are there other models with the same part and/or where I may be able to find a used one that I can fix? (Part number 2773201U00)

Sorry for the dumb questions but someone out there may have done this lately. I just dont want to tear the console apart only to do half the job.

Just seeking some advice - the internal trim around my rear quarter windows keeps coming loose - I have tried contact adhesive, contact gel, waiting for both sides to remain tacky - have tried wedging plastic pieces into the edge to hold them in place as the glue dries but they continue to peel back due to the heat & sun. Has anybody found a product or a way to stick the trim material down for good? See photos

Hey guys, I did some searching around and wasn’t really able to find any non-dated/useful information. I’m pretty new with wiring and electrical stuff on these RB’s, so give me some slack.

Anyways, I’m in the market for a Power FC for my RB25DET, and I’m kinda just trying to see if the Power FC is the one for me. I know there’s plenty of monitoring you can do on your hand controller (boost, coolant temp, etc.), but could someone write a list of everything there is that you can monitor?

I’m also interested in a multifunction-like gauge. Basically, I want to see speed, tach, water temp, etc. (the basic stuff), and I want it to be in a small gauge pod so it can be just mounted to the dash or whatever.

	Thanks guys!

I know you may be thinking WTF? But today was the first opportunity I got to push the R32 a bit hard and the RB20 quite comfortably exceeded the speed limit. What I noticed was not that it had so much more to give but the car made a beeping or chiming sound - What is this noise? Was it a warning, a speed limiter and if so how can you adjust it or turn it on/off. It only made the chiming at the top end and then it would disappear on normal driving.. Any ideas?
