Back in the good old days: https://www.gizmodo.com.au/2019/10/an-early-nissan-r35-gt-r-is-still-terrifyingly-fast-bends-space-time/

It was recently reported that this now 10 year old design car, costs approx AUD $400k. with on road costs. Because of what it then represented, and my status in life, I have been a regular follower of the marque up at Bathurst in Feb each year. Going up to that race accounts for most of the kms I've travelled in my little V35; (has to be the best value car on the road). I've seen the good and the bad happen to the Nissan, but it is all starting to wear a bit thin now. Perhaps its the Euro influence through Renault ?? I have a couple of euro bikes that I like unfortunately, otherwise I would burn them in defiance, so as to dis-associate myself from the region, that IMO is having such an adverse undue influence on at least western world politics. Anyway, back on the subject, I like the analogy with skiing. It may not register with a non skier, not that I was ever much of one. Takes me back a long time in another life, when I used to go up to Buller. My skill level progressed up to the stage of being better than just going up and down Bourke Street. Just as suggested in this clip, thought it was time to progress to the other side of the mountain. Started down Bull Run ?? Yeah, that was ok, speed rapidly built up, was soon time to traverse across the fall; ah, but it doing so for a brief moment it is all straight down ... nah! decided to flick the skis across while laying on my back, and then proceeded across the slope to a point where I could start walking back up to the top.

	All,

I have seen a GTR 2015 plate with 42k miles. Price of it is quite cheap for what it is as it is listed as 47k .

it has litchfield 4.25 upgrade , carbon body, carbon spoiler , body kit etc .

what is suspecious to me is the price as it seems cheap then no history or service book. Guy says I can verify the service history with litchfield and kreamcar.

would you buy or walk away ?
Car pulls like tank, it had vibration when breaking so either pads, alloy or disc warped. then it had a sound which the guy mentioned is bell housing sound which is normal on gtr.

	thoughts?

Can Nissan change the millage and ensure it has not been tampered with and do body inspection to let me know if it was damaged?

If a car is written off or about to be made cat c which is now known as cat d or n , then would the insurance do that regardless or can the guy take it away and fix it without letting insurance know?

	Hi all,

Wanting to get some advice on what map I should choose from the COBB website.

Basically, I am after a map which will make the gearbox behave in a normal manner when in automatic mode instead of shifting into 6th gear at 40kph. I know COBB have the map I am after (www.cobbtuning.com)……………….my problem is which one? There are so many to choose from with what seems to be little or no difference in description.

My car is a MY13 R35 with some extensive mods, including gearbox (Dodson bits throughout.) It has a custom tune from Precision Racing (using the COBB access port) so I’m also hoping that messing with the TCM wont negatively affect it.

OK, I have spent half an hour trawling search results without concluding anything.

Is anyone able to definitively state the stock MAF pipe diameter for an R35? I am looking at using a single R35 MAF (I assume they have one for each bank, never looked) in another application altogether. It may not even end up used in the final tune of my car.

My ECU has a table of voltage versus grams/sec airflow for a MAF which I like a lot better than at least the early Nistune/Nissan table of MAF percentage that has been kludged back to a HP figure not an air mass, but I have not yet found the pipe diameter Nissan used to validate the data for my setup. Another option would be a HPX MAF as they provide a spreadsheet to scale the output to any pipe diameter you like with the output in various formats, but they cost maybe 50% more than the R35 unit.

I am looking at it for my HR31 track car, which has an Emtron KV8 ECU. I am looking at it for light load use in the tune, blended out to speed density at higher loads, but also to validate data and refine a table related to throttle body mass flow calculations used elsewhere in the ECU and potentially for some turbo dynamics stuff (Data nerd here)

Fundamental to the lot is knowing what diameter pipe Nissan used so that the MAF table in my ECU matches reality. If I cant define that I will be better off spending the extra hundred bucks or so for a HPX and be done with it.

	Hi All,

I'm planning towards my special day and I would love my vehicle to be a White GTR(35). The fine details are not worked out just yet but this is for 16th of May 2020. The car will be driven from my place(Merrylands) to the Church(Parramatta 2.5km drive), some photos will be taken and that is it. There is a chance we may be going to another location for photos but at this stage that is not the plan. We will give plenty of notice.

I am not fussed about year model or modifications, I just need a white, clean R35 GTR.

If anyone is keen, please let me know what you would like for the hire of your car.

I am happy to pay a deposit to secure the day if required.

	Hey Guys,

very new here. was always a Silvia fan boy and had those s13 to all the way to multiple S15s to Evos and houses, houses and now back in looking for a R35s as they are a bit affordable.
looking in Carsales, i am not finding many good coindition R35's in Melbourne for the price i am willing to pay.
Some of the other question, is it worth buying a 35... looking for one for a while now and driven multiple so far.. but looks like my budget will get me a 2011 model at best case which i am not sure is even worth?
Alternate option is thinking Audi RS3s which doesnt compare i know..
i know someone of you keyboard warrior will probably flog me before a proper answer,, so yeah.. just looking for some of your honest answers if you own a 35. What are they like, known issues and so on..

I only have 2 remote keys for my car! My spare remote key is dead and went back to a garage for service and buy a new spare key! The problem is the mechanic with his latest GTR consult can not access into the key section for setting new keys somehow! His opinion is that I have replaced with a USA English audio unit together with an European (Russia - English mode) gauge cluster that may be the cause of problem for accessing into the remote key diagnosis for setting up new keys! I am totally don't understand what he is saying! But the daily use existing key is working fine! Is there any suggestion on this issue! Please help!

The mechanic demonstrated with another similar JDM GTR (which use Cobb Access Port)! The display and gauge cluster are in original Japanese display, and with his GTR consult he can access into the remote key diagnosis without any problem!

	Hi all,

Looking to upgrade stock turbos on our MY09 R35. We have made a few mods and use a flex fuel system to run E85 at our local drag meets where we are getting consistent 10.61-5 runs. Stock turbo's are sitting on 18-19 psi at 3500rpm, which is fantastic off the line, but don't have the carry through for the top end.

Any suggestions on upgrades that can hold boost through 7000rpm without giving it up in the mid range so we still have the launch advantage? Not looking for a record breaker, just want to be closer to the 10.00 mark and have drive-ability - around 700 hp-ish? Prefer to keep the stock housing and just upgrade the internals.

	Any recommendations?

	Thanks
Nic

Nissan GTR 2012 sticky on the reverse.

	Hi all

	I recently purchased a 2012 GTR with 26k kms.

On the reverse the car feels sticky and I have to accelerate harder to move when turning the wheels. Feels that the rear diff locks when on reverse?

Is that how it supposed to be or there is something wrong?

Car is custom tuned with cobb access port.

	Thanks

GTR-Registry.com is proud to announce the release of the Nissan R35 GTR data covering from 2007-11 to 2013-02!
---------------------------------
VIN Tables:
This data is contained in 5 databases, of which I have managed to obtain most or all for the following regions:

	http://gtr-registry.com/en-r35-au.php Australia & New Zealand: 594 of 594 records.

	http://gtr-registry.com/en-r35-ja.php Japan: 7987 of 8006 records.

http://gtr-registry.com/en-r35-eu.php Europe, United Kingdom, Russia, Other RHD markets: 6109 of 6118 records. [Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Lativa, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom]

http://gtr-registry.com/en-r35-us.php USA, Canada, Middle East and some others: 8998 of 9038 records. [USA, Canada, United Arab Emirates + Other Middle East, Guam, PLT(?)]

Unfortunately despite asking around quite a bit I was unable to find any info yet on:
http://gtr-registry.com/en-r35-gl.php Other LHD markets. In the notes I can see this covers Korea, Taiwan, Lebanon and Algeria. No doubt I will be able to find more. This is where you could help - if you know someone in 1 of these countries, can you please help obtain a VIN (I don't need the last 3 digits - just the first 14 would do) or please get them to contact me. From that I should be able to work out the rest, and finish off this database which should cover all of the R35 GTR for the entire world.

Please try and find your VIN. If you can't find it, please check:
A) Is it dated less than March 2013?
B) Try searching the last 6 numbers of your VIN.
C) Try looking in the other R35 databases. If you have a R35 that was factory delivered to a country that is not listed, please let me know.

If you still can't find it, please contact me!

There are some other current unknowns in the data, so if you are able to help with any of these, please let me know.

In the USA database there is 413 cars listed with the model code GLRNLWGR35ZUAY00#Y. I have been able to confirm that 3 is UAE. I'm sure that the other numbers are for other Middle East countries, such as Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, etc. I'd love to be able to accurately list these cars, so again if you know someone or could ask around in the local language to try and help work out what they are, that would be great.

Also in the USA data, there is a listing for GUM/PLT. I am certain GUM is for Guam, but I have not worked out PLT. Do you have any ideas?

In the Europe/UK/Russia/Other RHD database, there are a few cars listed without a country in the source data. I've added them to "No Country Specified" in these circumstances. Almost all of these are in the MY12 section.

Many countries, for example Germany, Austria and Switzerland are all grouped together. This is how it is in the source code and I can't separate these out any further. There are some small countries that have their own listing. Interestingly there is no mention of Spain. These may fall under Portugal.

Japan has 2 colours that are not located elsewhere (that I'm aware of), LAC (Black Opal for SpecV) and QAG Ultimate Opal White. Speaking of which, was SpecV ever released outside of Japan?

There is nothing too exciting in the Australia/New Zealand database really.
---------------------------------
Colours and Production Pages
These are coming in the not too distant future. The only reason I haven't added them now is that I want to see if there are any missing batches of VINs first (hopefully not except for Other LHD markets). I don't want to post the build numbers and then have it change and be incorrect - I'll try and get it right first time.

	---------------------------------
Other cars on GTR-Registry.com
The R35 data isn't the first to be added - in fact it is the 6th major release of data. There is a full VIN table of all R32, R33, and R34 GTRs as well - please take a look around the site.

	---------------------------------
Photo Registry:
There is a Registry section at http://gtr-registry.com/forum/ where you can add photos of your car and it will link back to the main database VIN table. If you change the dropdown box "Pic" to Yes you will get a quick list of all of these cars. If you take a look at the R34 GTR section there is already over 100 cars listed.

	---------------------------------
Please Help!!!
- Share/Repost/Tell your friends etc
- Please help spread this post to all R35 GTR Facebook Pages/Groups/Forums etc. It would be very highly appreciated if you speak 2 or more languages if you could put a small introduction about this data in your non English language and post to non english areas of the internet. Thanks.
- Don't forgot I'm looking for a VIN for Taiwan/Korea/Algeria/Lebanon - if you can help I'm happy to give you permanent credit on the website!
- Also looking for info on Middle East countries in USA database, and what PLT means.

If you are able to supply a copy of Nissan FAST with data newer than 2013-03 I would love to know, please get in contact with me, thanks!

I'm thinking of buying me a r35 gtr. I'm not to far off the coast for Florida and my biggest decision is to buy a US one or a JDM one. The little I know and from looming on YouTube is the JDM ones have a speed limiter, but I can buy a limiter elimanator from hks or a few more vendors.

What would you guys recommend.? Like what year is best. I'm not looking for the older set, but if I'm right the set from 13 to 16 I believe they come with about 550 hp. I really don't want to do anything to it but just some simple bolt ons. Is there anything I should know about these cars before getting one.

R35 Ivory Pearl White Colour Code?

G'day crew. I've never seen a white R35 in the metal, but I'm curious as to what the official paint code is. Nissan Oz just shows the name and (QAB); I don't know if this is enough to get something painted up to see how it looks. I'm also curious as to what the thoughts are of the colour for people that've seen it: dirty? Clean? A bit grey-ish, or too pearl?

Thanks in advance!
