Hey there just wanted to verify with you experienced R33 Skyline owners out there.
Is this 2 wire black plug that was looped and taped back from factory (green with yellow stripe and black wires) for the fog light mating plug that connects to the S2 Fog Light Indicator Stalk on a S1?
Ive purchased a S2 Stalk, popped in a genuine Nissan Brown Relay in the engine bay relay and fuse box and made sure the fuse was good also. Just wanted to verify if this plug pictured is indeed the mating plug that connects to the S2 Stalk?
Cheers for the help and hope this helps others in my position as well when I get an answer.
Strange issue in the R33 I just purchased.
The drivers side door wont lock or open with the key, can lock from inside when flicking the latch. Did some investigation, removed the door interior trim and found that there is a rod from the key lock just dangling/hanging down not attached to anything. I would think that this rod would attach to the actuator but I can't see anywhere on the actuator this rod would link to. I see other rods link to the actuator using colour coded clips but cant find where this one goes.
Anyone have suggestions?
Ill post pics this weekend.
I scored these 17inch Nismo rims for my 33 and was wondering how much they might be worth as I can't find them anywhere online as their most likely old school, but they say Rays Eng on the back (rays engineering) I've found the lmgt wheels look a lot like them but they don't have the groove design mine have.
So, i've had this odd noise coming from my podfilter, as in my opinion sounds like a grinding metallic noise. This isn't something new though, it has been going on since 2016. It isn't that apparent irl but you can definetely hear it on idle when standing near the engine xD.
I recorded a video with my phone which managed to capture the noise really well (since it's quite high pitch). I will link a clip with the noise below.
Any wise thoughts on what it could be?
