  1. Challenge accepted, will try over 450kW using ARP2000. Side note, quoting power is HP is like measuring your penis length starting from your anus.

  2. This. Even when stock engines fail, I can't recall a single post in the last 10+ years here of "A rod let go" "A piston melted"

  3. Let's keep it simple then as requested: 90% of any RB = ARP2000 Money to burn or mega boost = ARP CA625+ /Close thread

  4. Yeah just fusion welded it. I'll have to keep an eye out for cracks and an ear out for strange whistle-whooshka noises then! I've ditched the bolts as the bolt holes would have been a leak point without the seal in it. No backup from them..... Like I said, my first gig at any AC welding so stumbling around like a drunken blind dude with that side of it! ? Let's be honest, based on past history ill probably never drive it so it doesn't really matter. ?

  6. A vote here for the maxspeedingrods...rods..rather than spending anything prepping up stock 25 or 26 rods. New engine is running fantastic.

  7. Waiting for parts is tiresome...I need my high stall and I want it now... Today was a big cleaning day though, took the Mrs to Goulburn in the SS to lunch with the daughter last week and the car got smashed by bugs, then, the next day......I rode the bike to Goulburn to lunch with the daughter, again......yeap, hitting a swarm of bugs at 110kph makes a mess of that Dart screen. I'm really glad I got that screen, I was only wearing a light kevlar jacket and the bugs that hit my biceptacons stung like a bitch, I would hate to be taken them "in the face", the canola is in bloom and the bugs are thick as 10 thick things. In other news I have officially stopped looking for a new car, I'm really enjoying driving the old Commonwhore, it's mad comfy, and lays mad skids.

  12. Pretty happy with it considering the price and lack of support for R31 things in general. You can tell it's 3D printed, from the back. But otherwise it has a nice paint/finish added to the front size.
