  1. Cheaper than r33 xenon lights ? Were around $500 ? Almost looks like it came from factory with all the "standard" Nissan parts.

  2. So after a couple of years of doing nothing i've started giving the old girl some love again. The goal is to build a 2.2l sroker and run it in classic gt in Targa 2022. I have replaced the Racepak dash with a motec C125. The motec is in a different leage as far as what it can do and how well the i2 software works to view the logs. I found a fuel sock that would fit propery in the factory pump bracket, hopfully this will stop the car eating fuel pumps. Also fitted a rain light to keep cams happy. I had to put new seatbelts in to replace the perfectly good but out of dates ones. I'll be running the car at the 60th anniversary meeting for Symmons Plains on Oct 24-25. Still some work to do on the car before then, but it will be good to have it up to date and running again.

  3. Go downstairs, start your car and put your hand on the turbine housing at idle. Please take a video. ?

  4. Heat & lines? Well I disagree, I can vouch that the oil drain was a nightmare to run in an EFR7670 w/ 6 boost manifold , required some custom welding of a drain but aside from that, there is absolutely NO issues with heat. The big rear EFR housing keeps the whole setup only mildly sunkissed after a good belting, as opposed to scorching hot like other turbos !!! I couldn't really care about having LOTS of room, because do you care about that when you're getting whoosh noises from 2000rpm EFR response? EFR's are the George foreman of turbos and nothing else comes close!!!! Sure there's not that much space but if you want to be the big daddy you need a big daddy turbo. On the other hand, put your hand on a small housing Garrett after some punchy driving and you'll get third degree burns.

  5. Just spent a bit of time this morning doing a few small things like fitting indicators, rear speaks, shortening intake pipe and cooling plates. Engine bay all done just need to fit a washer bottle in the corner Thanks to @Ben C34 advice went back and checked the ethrottle setup and set it up properly so idle is smooth at 800rpm and doesn't stall ? Big ticket items left is driver side lca, cat back exhaust and Coilovers.

  8. Yep. BRZ if you want to placate Subaru people. There's a reason there's 7.7 million of them per square km.

  10. Exactly. I see no need to run an N1 pump over a stock 33/34 GTR pump. I haven't seen concrete evidence of N1 flow / pressure specs. Best info I could dig up was 47 l/min at 6000rpm, 75psi, but that is still hearsay. The main reason for getting an N1 pump back in the day was they did have a harder gearset than stock (someone on here independently tested it), but if you're going to put billet gears in what the point ? I know @Sydneykid back in the day used to advise to use the stocker over an N1 and Darren from Lewis engines, who builds some pretty tuff and reliable gear, advises of using the stock housing with gears over an N1 pump. I've only used one once 11+ years ago and wouldn't bother again with them against a stock housing if gearsets are being replaced. I have no idea why people even bother with N1 oil pumps when everyone knows basically nothing about them.

  11. For those interested here's my Evo 9 and 7670 1.05 result. Alternator was getting sad so we capped it at that for now. Turbo speed is 126K out of 140k so there's still a bit left in the tank. We also capped torque at 670nm to keep my gearbox happy. My tuner believes there's probably around 420kw & 700+nm of torque in it on full send mode.
