  2. The confusion over why diesel trucks are seemingly conflated with "race car exemptions" is one of those things where it really only makes sense if you've followed how "race car exemptions" have been abused in the US. Literally every single tuning part in the US is sold as "off-road/racecar use only", to the point of worthlessness. The EPA is just calling BS on this when the vast majority of parts like DPF + SCR + EGR deletes are sold to vehicles that are only ever driven on public roads and nothing else. If DPF/SCR/EGR/TWC deletes were truly only sold and used in race/track-only cars I doubt the EPA would have even bothered revisiting this issue after 2015, but they weren't and they're using the nuclear option as a result. What's actually happening is that entire businesses are running these emission deletes on their diesel trucks to avoid having to spend money on maintaining their engines properly. Harley Davidson was nailed for this as well, they would sell motorcycles to people as "emissions compliant", then after sale dealers would just put the real tune on it and wouldn't even pretend that the thing was for off-road use by requiring the motorcycle to be trailered off the premises, people would just drive off with street plates already on the thing. The actual laws haven't changed, the EPA is just changing their interpretation of it and that's going through court battles now. We'll see if it goes anywhere this time, last time they backed down.

  3. double rear anti-roll bars was a ghetto mod because R31 reasons. Don't need it but some people used to do it for drifting or whatever.

  7. So....... Dyno didn't go as planned. Didn't make power it should have. Looks like having fuel pressure and trigger issue. Also forgot to turn off vtc so which caused a few small problems that I didn't realise until I talked with a mate. Going to order trigger kit and upgrade fuel reg before heading to rockynats as would be good to make decent power again.

  8. Hi Guys, I'm really sorry for the delay here. I have installed a new dark theme which is based off the default theme. It's very similar to the old dark theme but I have no time to fix the old one. Just change to the new one in the footer and let me know what you think.

  13. Everything looks right in the photo of your setup. The WB1 has 2 CAN ports on it so you can daisy-chain it with other CAN devices. You could use the second CAN port to connect your dash. You'll only run into issues when you want to install an additional device, say an I/O box, then you'll need a CAN hub. Just so you know, the Haltech CAN hub works with the Platinum Pro (this thing https://www.haltech.com/tag/can-hub/). I don't know if you ordered the can box because you thought the hub wouldn't work with the platinum ecu.

  15. Got the Aircon lines in with new o-rings and drier, just need to wire the plug to compressor and gas it up. Booked a few hours of dyno hire Tuesday so be good to have it running and ready for street driving again. Took the 370z out to first event at new driveIT facility. Went pretty good and fastest car on street tyres. It goes pretty well but definitely need decent tyres to catch the faster guys. Overall impressed for a stock car and surprised a few people but if I was tracking it often a manual would be a lot better.

  16. I originally was shooting for 450 to the wheels and met that goal and some thanks to E85 😈. Low boost 15 PSI 513WHP and 357 TQ. Due to stock tranny high boost is stopping at 20Psi and 569WHP 396 ft lb TQ. I’m very happy with these numbers and cannot wait to learn this new beast.

  18. So a follow up to my original post. Steve's car alarms is very good. Steve knows his stuff, fixed all of the old install wiring calamities, knew his way around the 33, he does many of these cars. New system is great too. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for car security in Melbourne.

  21. I have a pair of Harley Sportster exhausts brand new. They came off a mates new bike, the bike was taken out of the crate by the dealer, the exhausts changed for aftermarket, Fuel system modified, all before the bike was started. It still goes on.
