  2. I remember seeing one at Phillip island a few years back, stock as a rock fitted with Bridgestone semis re55 i think. Ran 1:54's, my 33 with double the power and the extensive mods has run a best of 1:50.4. 54's with tyres is impressive

  3. Just going to leave it for now, it has the mid resonator deleted otherwise standard. Its a 265 cup+ so it has an extra 15 lamas Surprisingly the mini build quality was very good. 247k km, drove beautiful, no rattles from the interior. Solid little car. Shit at putting the power down, no lsd. The megay is a real nice place to be, being a cup+ it's the more luxurious comfy version. It has high kms also at 195. There are some interior rattles that are affecting my ocd. It drives awesome and is mechanically solid. Drive wise, it's in a different league to the Mini. It's apples and oranges. I just sold the Mini to the first viewer, ex bmw tech. He agreed with me that it was the best condition 247k car he'd ever seen. Busted, lol. Faux Nissan, gohsn style.

  5. Thank f**k finally someone bought a MK3 megane Best car for the money bar none, road, track, everything in between. My 225 was lovely. The 250/265/275 have a ton of aftermarket support if you want to go that way too.

  6. Yes it is, does everything without fuss. The amount of grip available is hard to believe for a wrong wheel drive car, definitely a step up from the Mini but needs some love which I'm happy to give it. The Mini was great but eventually all good things come to an end. Im sure the new owner will love it, they're getting a damn good car.

  9. I brought a NA R34 a few years ago. Its a good fun 6k car. not a good 15-20k car. Def go something more modern

  10. Ignore rusting Japanese cars from the 90's, nostalgia and dogecoins drove prices up, not worth it unless you're a drug dealer. I'd get something cheap to insure, get full license then get something with B48/B58 or new 400Z

  11. This seems like something that would have been a good option 5 years ago - in today's climate it seems like a really really poor investment. I honestly think unless you have some sentimental attraction towards Skylines - they really aren't that impressive a car. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't trade mine for anything and I have a massive soft spot for any Skylines I see (especially ones that are being tracked) - but if you're going in thinking about resale and how you're going to sell it in a few years, then unless it's a GTR I would stay well away and go for a more modern car.

  14. The Halaltach fuel conditioner works. I ended up draining the tank to get the full and empty (~5l left) and interpolated the rest as it's linear.

  16. I doubt any workshop will let you get away with tinted headlights/rear lights. Also why do people tint them? So many safety concerns and not to mention it looks shit.

  19. Made a sneaky patch loom for the Fuel Level Sender Conditioner today. It adapts into the loom which powers the dash so that I can give both the dash and the conditioner 12v. The rest of the loom runs to the conditioner itself and a DTM-3P connector for power, earth and the signal from the fuel level sender itself (I will intercept the wire on the dash for the factory gauge). The little wire dangling (I should have given it more length, but long story) will go to the input on the ECU.
