I got my car on board 10 days EARLY this month (13th), so I don't understand the problem with some brokers and dealers out there *shrug* So I get my car over a week early, the import approval comes in early, and have my compliance already lined up. I should be driving my car by the end of the month, most likely earlier. As David Chapelle would say "Hooray for me Billy!".

Thanks predator. I have sourced another mechanic to do the work for me. The reason I didn't go to him first was because he quoted me too high, but after letting him know that I can source the parts required myself he was reasonable with the counter quote. I've used this guy before, I trust his workmanship, and he's almost in the CBD. He said that I was welcome to look over the car while it's up on the hoist to get a better view of the vehicle. I will keep this thread posted on the outcome, hopefully within a fortnight.

I called Cresta at Capalaba this morning looking for spare seats, and the guy told me that they had a pair of brand new NISMO seats imported directly in from Japan. I never knew NISMO made seats. Apparently they are very nice. Cost? > $3000 for the pair.
