  1. R.I.P and my condolences to friends and family. Sorry to hear. "It usually ends up in tears when your brain and foot get disconneted"
  2. I'm in. What date(s) are you thinking of?
  3. I have an external wastegate. Screamer pipe yes... But B4 I had the work done it screamed but not like it does now. It's like it's singing out of tune if you know what I mean? Maybee all I need is to cut again above weld where sleeve was placed and maybee thats causing the funny scream. It is pretty off putting and I bet would scare the shit out of a driver with his window down if was not expecting it... even better if done past an undercover >> ass ram!
  4. You reckon hold a mic out the window getting on boost and record? I 'm serious it sounds like a long loud whoopy. I will attempt after work and post tonight.
  5. Hi, I had the temporary piping & welding (needed for VIC Roads RWC certificate) removed from my wastegate to exhaust on Friday last week. B4 work was done the noise level on boost was high, but similar to the sound of turbo spooling... with pipe fitted not much different. Now when on full boost it really does sound like my car is doing a fanny fart. Why is this so? Only the pipe that went from wastegate to exhaust was removed and then hole in exhaust filled and welded shut. I can’t notice any lack in performance and the cut on pipe is straight, not jagged or squashed. I would like to get it sounding better than it does now. Any explanation, thoughts would be appreciated. Oh… BlindElk I have your front brake lines if you see this. PM me and I will meet up with you and return. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated
  6. Please take you woman here... first impressions are everything.
  7. Shaun > BlackRobin changed to RTFGTR
  8. I'm in for a cruse tonight.
  9. I reckon you could put together a pretty funky mix together for me... yeah? I have to stick up a bit for the hipady-hop like BASS JUNKY said. My roots are there and even the best of trance/acid is nothing without a funky hip-hop bass grove. So how about a mix tape to amp up all us liners????
  10. I'm stuck in a time warp... don't go out clubb'en much so listen to mostly stuff I got my hands on back then. I wish I had a way to record some of the "FRIDAY TAPES" Phil K used to broadcast that I have on tape onto CD... Some wicked sets were played over the air back then. Also got the 4 Tape set of the SUNNY SIDE UP crew that was only given out at the Pyjama Party they had in 99/2000 can't recall what year exactly 1 x 1 hr Tape each for Phil K - Ozzy LA - Gab Oliver and someone else (I lost that one) Never got into collecting Vinyl, but I'm sure I would be green with envy over your collection. Another local that has dropped off the plant is Dallas - I worked with him at my first job and he kind'a got me into Trance and what not. He rocked it hard and funky every time, used to do double sets with Dave Pham allot. DMC back toilet near ally way "Drugs aren’t for people who can't handle reality... Reality is for people who can't handle Drugs" - Amen to the good old days BAHHH!
  11. I'm not sure if I can agree that the scene is crap or I'm getting old?? LOCAL BOYS Late 90's + 2000/01 - In order of appreciation... 1. Phil K - 2. Will E. Tell - 3. Gab Oliver - 4. Jason Digby - Best Venue's Late 90's + 2000/01 - - SUNNY SIDE UP (old palladin / hellfire venue) - MANSION (no longer) - VM's (Virgin Marys - also no longer) - VIPER (till it got "wog-da-fied") Also, now days... no good recovery places that I know of anyway. Now and beyond 2004... FUNK & FUNKY HOUSE Honkytonks is the only good place I've been to in 2+ years - not that I have benders/munch frequently anymore - seems that most "bang'en" places are filled to the brim with "FLUF" and "BUBBLEGUMMERS" EDIT: Any hole is a GOAL!!!!! My 2c
  12. LOL, Haven't been hitting the keyboard lately... to busy driving around for driving sake! I have clocked 1800+km's in 2.5 weeks I have it booked in for Friday to get some work done and my braided lines put back in. I will bring your fronts and donate the rears to the SAU Vic "spare parts" storage at the meeting. I would have done the swap sooner but the budget was srtetched getting the thing on the road and I get paid by the month
  13. Missed last months... Can I get my membership goodies on Tuesday?
  14. Only went for half an hour or so then needed to get to a b/ball game. I can't wait to get out and have a go, I think I got the bug.

  20. Called DOTARS this morning and I have now been back to VIC Roads (lucky I work 2 buildings down on Lakeside Drive) and car is now registered... YIPPIE They did screw me with the stamp duty... he asked how much the car is worth... I say about $25K then proceeds to write out a bill of $1000 + registration = $1533.40 Fark! I showed him my receipt for purchase of the car ($15500 or $1130000YEN) and he would not have a bar of it... you said $25K... I could have punched him. Anyway, besides having a bvery light wallet now I'm happy. Also, do you think they even looked at any of the things I was told needed to be changed? NO! External wastgate, Turbo, Brake Lines, Brake Rotors and Heat Sheild... I spent over $1000 getting these things fixed and they did not even look at anything besides the VIN number and Engine Number... That's It.
  21. I must be the most unlucky person in the world I went bright and early this morning to VIC Roads and fark'en DOTARS have not advised VIC roads of my Australian issued VIN No. and it's not on the database so I can't register my car untill someone updates the database. I had my DOTARS import approval sent to me on the 9 July 2004.... you would think that these government departments could get something as simple as typing 14 numbers into a database done in 4 MONTHS. FARK!!!!!
  22. IT PASSED I HAVE A RWC I am booked in for registration 8:30am @ Vic Roads Thanks again.
  23. This is the best thing about this forum... quick solutions, knowledge and ppl's good nature to help out another. I'm now sorted and it's only taken a few hours. I thought that I would need to re-book my registration at VIC Roads for a second time. But it looks like I may be cruz'en this weekend. Sorry about all the spelling mistakes B4 I CNBF editing now and I was in a hurry. Thank again to Greg >> aka blind_elk I will give them to SteveL once I'm done with them.
  24. blind_elk is offline.... anyone got his number?
  25. PM sent to blind_elk.... your a lifesaver. I can do a swap after I have passed RWC. I braded all round but found some rears and was having trouble getting the fronts. Once I pass RWC I will put the braded back on. How stupid is this law? Braded are stronger and I cant work out why they need to be changed.
