Hi Guys, More of a lurker than anything else, however I use the forum HEAPS and I even went on my first SAU cruise the other day which was an awesome outing and even better people. I just wanted to say something I've thought for a while. I really admire the community and have half heartedly tried to join multiple times but there was just no easy process which is your biggest problem. Hell, I'm even a member of ARDC and I won't get as much out of my member ship there as I would with SAU. I bet there are a bunch of people out there who would give money if the process was a bit easier. Main points: You need a SUPER EASY process for SAU membership, contributing etc with an easy payment via credit card. Happy to help put something together if you want, just PM me. Cheers,

First social event I made it too, nice to meet everyone! I couldn't stay for the movie but definitely need to head back to the bunker, the chick schnitzels looked pretty damn epic! Had a few car issues on the way home so probably a good thing that didn't happen on the way to katoomba, hope to be at the next one.

Hey Mate, Was looking for info on sunroof's and stumbled across this, definitely an amazing build! I was looking at deleting my sunroof and plexi was looking like the best option and just had a couple of questions around what you thought: How are you holding the plexi in the sunroof, did you use a mix of bolts and sealant? I notice you are now going to register the car, is plexi sunroof, rear glass legal for a road car? I'm in sydney as well with a 32, where did you get your plexi made up? Either way this thread has definitely helped me out!

Looking For A Really Good Mechanic Who Knows His Stuff.

Have used JLM since I picked up a Skyline, they definitely know their stuff and our car is 10X better because of it, goes pretty damn hard now compared to when we bought it. Senior swears a lot but it generally means he's sorting something solid out. -
http://www.hitechmufflers.com.au/ is where the exhaust on my car came from when I bought it. I only found out because by chance we took it back to them to get a screamer pipe plumbed back in but can't fault their work. It's in Darlinghurst as well so a bit closer too.

Hey Guys, Was just wondering if anyone from SAU was heading over to SEMA this year in vegas?

Wow. Just called up and was a bit skeptical as I don't have a GTR but they insured my R32 GTST with some of the modifications we have receipts for. Currently - Shannons - $2200 p.A NRMA - $571 P.A comprehensive, insured for more. I do have my green slip with Shannons, did some one mention that might be problematic when switching comprehensive provider? Pretty chuffed about this really, hated paying thousands when the car just sat in the garage most of the time... AND this put me in a better discount bracket for having multiple policies with NRMA.
