hea69d replied to antonahu's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
well i'm with young and k00l and am paying $2600 for a non turbo r33 with bodykit and 19" wheels so you can try them but for me i found it really hard coz like you said no one wants to touch imports. i would be easier to insure a v8 hah -

i'l give it a go but it only does it when the bott is closed so that narrows it down a lot. u can't hear it inside the car just outside

Nissan R33 GTS Non Turbo Skyline
hea69d replied to antonahu's topic in Naturally Aspirated Performance
mate i own a non turbo r33 (couldn't get finance for gtst) but in this day with cops and insurance if al u want is a skyline the an gts will be fine. myne doesn't look bad at all if you want some pics i will send but all the turbos are good for besides use for the track is the sound it makes which in turn attracts more unwanted attention and fines, which i would rather spend on my car haha (talking from experience and lack of money and points) good luck bro -
was wondering if anyone has had a go at taking the plastic front headlight covers off? or even do they come off? i have seen a few pics of slyines without the covers and was curoious as to how it can be done. any ideas?

Install of Stereo deck + Subs + Amp in R33 GTST
hea69d replied to Z32 Airlines's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
installing is easy mate. do u know what wires to run to the amp etc? if not email me and we can get ya sorted. i'm no whiz so it's not as hard as first thought -
i currently have an r33 running two 15" subs. i went to straithfield to see bout stoping the bott rattle and he reckoned it wouldn't make a difference with sound deadener. i was hoping someone has a bott installation and can tell me how they went about stopping the boot rattle for a nice clean sounding system. any help would be sweet cheers

Where can I find insurance for my import?
hea69d replied to PranK's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
i'm with young and cool, i have a NON turbo r33 with front bar, side skirts and i didn't even tell them bout my 19", didn't tell them bout crashes or fines, so with a 40% no claim i pay $2600 a year -
