  1. Just be quiet and let fluttershy give you that dutch rudder.
  2. the whole point of me posting this topic was to figure out what car to buy... I have sent 3 letters to vicroads and gotten the same reply. I can not drive an r32 gts-t on my p's. There are about 4 N/A r34's on carsales in my area and i havent seen one in any local car yards. Besides one in dandenong but none where N/A. Ive had the guys on the forum and family members tell me to be sensable and not to worry about going fast until im off of my p's. Xr6 fits my needs fine, ide rather a skyline but it just isnt practical at the moment. Now you can pick on the 17 year old who doesnt know anything all day mate. But I find it hard to take you seriously when your display picture is of a my little pony, are you a legitimate brony? im hoping its just some kind of inside joke or something. Anyway thanks for your input i will most definitely not take it on board. Thankyou to everyone else who gave me actual informative feedback, not just on this topic but the other ones i have posted.
  3. that 34 looks really nice and i appreciate the offer, but im pretty set on a ba xr6 now.
  4. im defnetly going for the xr6, me being nearly into my third year of my building apprenticeship its more practical. Even though my mate who is a metal fabricator is making me a full body tray. Ive heard that with some little investment a n/a ba xr6 can get into the low 14's. Ive found a nice one with low k's for about 13 grand but il try get him down in price. I appreciate you guys not being bias and actually telling me what is the better car to go for, for my needs that is. thankyou guys!
  5. thats impressive man, props. i think and xr6 will be the way to go. Atleast until im off my p's
  6. I am currnetly looking at this. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-1999-13623679?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=9&eapi=2&__N=1246%201252%201247%201282%201216&find=r34%20sedAN|CarAll&silo=Stock&num=15&sort=default what do you guys think? It has low k's and a fair few extras and seems really cheap.
  7. well i can get a track exemption i believe, so i wouldnt need a tow car. You can only drive it for 40 hours on public roads though. I have no idea how the monitor it but. ive got 1 person telling me they are a reasonably fast car and others saying they are a slug. Which one is it haha
  8. ive got 10 grand saved up. Could buy an N/A liner or xr6 and just wait i gues.
  9. im looking at N/A r34 4 door's for my first car. Ive only ever driven manual and i hate auto, so here i am looking through all the r34 gt's and i see a nice clean one which says it is manual. I open it up and have a look at the pics of the interior and its a f**king auto. Its the same with every skyline ive looked at. It isnt manual so why advertise that it is. EDIT: i double posted some how... couldnt find a remove button so could a mod/admin please remove the other post.
