  1. I know it won't gain as much as a rev up engine but there should be some gains and ill be getting the ecu re flashed after all installed
  2. I put in a stillen Hi Flow kit, its a z tube k&n pod filter and a stollen box with a vortex ring that fits in place of factory. Still looks sorta factory doesn't have alot if pod noise but does give gains. Once I have the MREV 2 bottom intake and 5/16 spacer on it should give great gains without being cop bait.
  3. Scotty PM me the details for the transgo kit defiantly interested but might have to wait till next month wifey ain't to impressed with my expesive car hobby ATM lol. As for Tokyo Motorsports I haven't heard good or bad reports only found them on here but ill be calling them Tuesday for a run down and ill post the findings here.
  4. Not to worry Tokyo motorsports in Perth are able to do the up rev flash by all accounts on the web
  5. Yeh PN I've been sourcing the transgo kit, for sure a must with the uprev any places I should specifically look at to get it?
  6. Cheers guys I pretty much thought the stock fuel system was up to it but don't we all look for that little bit more lol. As for e85 fuel its of no use to me seeing as my V is an everyday car and its expensive enuf of premium 98 as is. Is there any other NA mods I should consider guys? And has anyone heard bad reviews on out the HKS Circle grounding kit? I'm also going to utilize 1 seeing as I have an auto ( I know I know lol ) and I know it'll help with shifting and my sound system. Jas
  7. To the v Gurus out there I need some expert opinions mainly with injector and fuel rail upgrade. I have the following mods about to go on: Motordyne TDX 2 exhaust Motordyne MREV 2 bottom intake 5/16 spacer Stillen z tube and k&n filter Once completed ( 2 weeks hopefully) ill b taking it in for chip upgrade and tune, not sure what but there a garage here in Perth GTI Performance that has a finger on the pulse with V's and Z's. So is it worth upgrading the fuel rails and injectors to optimise the mentioned mods? If so what? All opinions are appreciated peeps Cheers
  8. I've purchased it on eBay from the state Beshoffinfinti1 is the seller all up just under $300 oz delivered
  9. After all the advice and research I'm going with the stillen hi flow intake kit which has the z tube, heat shield, velocity ring and k&n filter. I can get it outa the states including delivery for $290 which I find acceptable so thanks for all the help peeps.
  10. Awesome feed back guys, and yes whilst we all like the bling factor I'm more inclined the the practical as I don't drive around with my bonnet up lol
  11. Everything is still stock atm scotty. On most cars Ive brought over the years the 1st thing I change is intake (Cheep upgrate and inexpensive). So basically the stock box is good till you get really serious on mod's?
  12. Well I've finally joined the club and purchased a 2004 V35 coupe and I couldnt be happier. My question here peeps is I'm stuck as to what would be the better Intake kit to fit in?? I've narrowed it down to the following 3: Injen Sp1993 DC Sports Sri4201 aFe Takeda Retain 2 Pro dry They all claim greatness in there own rights but what would be better in both power gains and ease? Price isnt a concern as theyre all about the same costs and I can get them from USA no dramas. Is there a better kit I've missed?? Any help would be fantastic. Jas
