  1. Haha thats actually part of the reason i love this car! I feel my frustration is more to do with the fact it keeps having issues that require fixing, not that they cant be resolved by a trip to pick-a-part. Although this car is fantastic overall, the ol' R31 was certainly easier in this sense!!
  2. I'm after cam sensors at the moment, but i was really talking more generally
  3. Hi All, Does anyone know any parts store that stocks items for our engines? I'm thinking Bursons or someone? It is becoming increasingly frustrating not having a consistant supplier of new parts. There are numerous second hand dealers around the place but if you want something new, it's barren! Surely there must be someone who supports VQ engines? Tony
  4. haha, that is a good idea! Wouldn't these be a real pain to install though? I would have thought that you would need to pull the whole door apart and remove pieces to add this no?
  5. Hey all, Some little POS ****ing **** etc has tried to jimmy my door lock with what appears to be a screwdriver, and has subsequently lefty half of the darn thing still in the lock. Two questions here, how on earth do i get the screwdriver out, and if the lock is now destroyed, what do i need to do to replace the barrel? I assume this is not an easy or cheap task, as a new barrel will require new keys and therefore coding as well yes? Thanks all. Tony
  6. Is this still going ahead? I'd like to come down and meet some of you guys at last
  7. I just used the kit from autobarn and it came up great! The kit could have done with more in the way of the cleaner and uv protectant, but overall i'm really happy with the results. Hopefully it stays good now.
  8. Got the rest of this week off work, I don't think I'm getting very much done round the house like I was originally intending, damn GTA
  9. Interesting, I will have a look this weekend. Is it the same part as the 350z? That will make it a lot easier to find a replacement part. I would like to check the fuse, because it died suddenly, do you know which one it is?
  10. Hey all, It seems my windscreen washer has died on me. When i pull the lever back to engage it, nothing happens except the wipers turn on. There is no noise from the pump at all, and there is plenty of water in the tank. Has anyone encountered this before? Could it just be a blown fuse, and if so which fuse does this relate to? I hope I don't have to replace the whole pump, cause it looks like it might be a real PITA to get too. Cheers, Tony
  11. Silver V35 on the corner of hull rd and Swansea rd in Lilydale a few weekends ago. Guy slowed down and we exchanged thumbs up. Always nice to see the back of our cars on the rd, they have such sexy arses!!
  12. The noise is down next to where the seat belt clips in, so left hip as your sitting in the drivers seat. It's definitely the seat base, judging from the movements that will cause the noise. I can gets photos up tomorrow, but it is a standard unit on a70th anniversary model, so cream leather with the seat heaters.
  13. That's my issue, how do i get the seat apart? 2 screws on the trim at the front of the seat, but then what? I couldn't work out how to get that trim off without breaking it, which is something i have a tenancy to do unfortunately.
  14. Best of luck. I snapped the plastic sensor part, so i had no choice but to get a new one if i wanted my fuel gauge to work at all. I'm still convinced there is a rogue spring in my fuel tank now.
