  1. If there is one it's hidden away better than the Nazi gold train, Searched all weekend for it, put a new gasket on the AAC valve and cleaned it, same result
  2. guys just for an update I've fixed the brake booster issue, the idle now sits at 2100rpm when it starts then hunts between 1500rpm-2100rpm...Could it be an AAC issue? or can anyone else point me in the right direction? I've driven the car and it drives fine, it's just that idle issue now. Thanks so much in advance
  3. Hey guys, I've checked to see if the IIRC valve is operating which it seems to be, the plastic chamber is not cracked... I've checked the hoses out of the auxillary valve and they seem to be on tight and in the right location. (I also installed new hoses) Does anyone have any other suggestions as to why the brake booster is not working and a fluctuating idle? Thank you so much in advance
  4. Thanks for the answers! I didn't clean the throttle bodies I read about not cleaning them as they have a seal. I will check the brake booster hose as I don't believe they opened the throttle bodies in smoke testing!
  5. RB26 issues Good Afternoon everyone, I've finally had time to start repairing my GTR. I had a vacuum leak from the intake manifold in the past and have changed all gaskets. Since putting it back together, two issues exist: I've lost the brake booster I have a fluctuating idle...When I start the car, it idles and sits at 2000rpm for about 10 seconds, following that it idles between 1300rpm-2000rpm (fluctuates) I have taken the car to a mechanic and they have tested for leaks with a smoke machine. No leaks were reported. Does anyone have any experience with these issues or have any ideas as to where I should start? Thank you, comments much appreciated!
  6. RB26DETT fluctuating idle Hey guys, My father changed all the hoses with brand new silicon hoses on the inlet manifold of his RB26 in his R32 GTR. Since he has changed the hoses, the idle fluctuates between 1500-2200rpm. When the AFM is disconnected, the idle sits steady at 1900rpm. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!
  7. its not for sale for $1000 geez. someone got on my computer and done this

It has NSW rego until 10/4/12. Genuine reason for sale. contact me on 0403 916 715 or [email protected] Regretful sale but genune reason for sale. ASKING $6000

  11. 1988 S3 TI For sale. 235,000km on the body, and 44,000km on the engine Modifications: RB25DET NEO Engine from an R34 T04 turbo installed NISMO 550cc injectors Bosch 040 in-tank fuel pump 3" Exhaust Sillohuette LSD modified and strengthened LSD diff EMS Stinger 4424 computer front mount intercooler battery professionally relocated to boot this car is the neatest R31 I have seen (since they were new!) The paint is like brand-new. my estimation is it has been professionally resprayed within the last 5 years. the interior is immaculate also. it has been professionally restored, the dash is perfect, it has brand new carpet, seats in perfect condition. it is a normal looking, stock dark green skyline. The sound system is great. It has an Eclipse head unit in it (not sure on the model, but it cost $700 new around a year ago), and has a 12" sub and amp in the boot. What it will need doing to be a dream car: It still has the standard R31 Auto in it. Not a big problem at all, could put a R32 5 speed in for around $500. It has a hole in the muffler It needs a dyno once the 5 speed has been put in. (runs a little rough) In saying the above comments, I must mention that it is still very very drivable, extremely reliable, and has monster power. With these modifications made, it would easy pull a 12 second quarter mile. It's not registered with the RB25 in it, but from what I believe it would be easy to change the engine number over, and at the worst require some R32 brakes. It does come with 11 months Rego, but no RWC. (am happy to leave the number plates and rego intact for the right buyer) was going to finish this car off as a project, but lost interest and too busy.
