    Hi

Hi Goran, Me hungry, job need.
  2. We've been told for at least 5 years now about getting it to a 1/4 mile, ANDRA approved, etc, etc. I'll believe it when I'm on my bike at the lights or in the stands watching.
  3. My bad, you guys are already all over it!
  4. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=237444616297789&id=211412368901014 Did anyone see this?
  5. Righto, I'm taking a 2011 Octavia 1.4 TSI for a test drive overnight tomorrow. I can get a brand new one for 27,300 which is over budget but i'll see how I go convincing the powers that be.
  6. Thanks mir, a bit out of my price range and I'm not super keen on either model. Plus I need an auto.
  7. I find looking at Mazda 3's and 6's that they are still stuck in the 90's tech wise, whilst there is nothing wrong with that my dads new VW golf with far less power is much quicker, more refined, and gets much better fuel economy. X-Trail would not be too bad but I don't want a tall car. f**k I'm a picky bastard lol, but I appreciate everyones imput. I think I'm pretty sold on the Octavia and there are plenty of them in Melbourne so it's only a one hour plane ride to pick it up
  8. I've done a fair bit of looking at Golfs, but they are just too small for me. I want to be able to chuck a few friends in easily and go over to the yorke for a weekend, etc. Passat wagon is probably out of my price range. Looking at the Octavia is seems like the best value for money. Big boot with a large opening, seats foldback, full volkswagen running gear, and lastly you don't see too many of them on the roads here. Thanks again for all your imput, keep your suggestions coming. Also Chef - How are you in general? Haven't seen you for many years now.
  9. Skoda Thanks chef, I was just looking at the Skoda. Very nice looking car and the volkswagen running gear is a plus. Gonna look into SAAB's a bit more.
  10. Hmm 1 series beemers are a bit too old in my price range. Can't find any A4's in that range either. I was thinking a Skoda. It's pretty much a Golf but a bit bigger.
  11. I'm a product manager. So occasionally I pick people up from the airport so a car with a bit of 'class' would be nice. Imports are out as they have no warrenty
  12. My job doesn't require a car, but it is part of my package. So it is only for personal use. I looked into a few Liberty's but they seem to be a touch on the expensive side. kawasakirider - Would love a XR6 ute but no utes allowed
  13. As the topic title says I'm getting a new work car. It has to be around the 25 grand mark. No older than a few years and under 40,000 kays. They would prefer I don't get a full size car like a falcon, commodore etc. I would like some sort of mid size station wagon. Any suggestions?
  14. My current Blackberry is easily the best phone I've ever had. Get at least 2 days out of it if I have a lot of calls, and email is constantly pushed to it all over the world.
  15. Red Orchestra 2 is still being done by tripwire who did the original. Being built on the unreal engine 3 as well. Wow that sucks on the motherboard, was it a 1155 or 1366 socket? Cos your Q6600 would be an old 775 like my core 2 duo.
