  1. Hi, I use 101 Motorsport and ages ago have used both PITS (Matt Spry) and GT Auto. I think PITS was at Molendinar so probably closer for you. The other two are at Slacks Creek. You could try Ramsdell Racing - Sean use to tune my car as well.
  2. Does the unit still work properly (not just light up)? I have two and the eeprom has failed on both so no buttons work except for the disc eject. So you might have an underlying issue. I will say, when it was working, I did have my ipod running off the audio port. I also managed to find a 3 ring RCA cable (audio and video combo) and it all worked playing video.
  3. It had something to do with the the way the compliance was done where the green plates had the name of the compliance company/reference in the model name. I think the there was one called Skyline Modena as well.
  4. I think the Walbro E85 https://www.golebysparts.com.au/products/walbro-450-460lph-intank-pump-e85 is pretty common and will sort you for later if/when you go for more power or E85 conversion. If you're doing the pump, do it right first time because its a lot of labour to get to it. Just make sure you get the wiring done to run direct from the battery rather than the stock power lines.
  5. Agreed! Its also the risk of the ceramic wheels that drive the need to change
  6. I'd contact a reputable supplier and talk through what you're doing so they can make sure you've got all the adapters etc to go through. Kudos are very helpful. Just think through your goals - -5,-7,-9 all have different characteristics (comes down to lag and top end power). -7 and -9's from memory are like HKS GTSS and Nismo N1 turbo's so are great upgrades but aren't high power but you get a very linear power curve. -5's are a tad laggier but get the higher power easily. There is heaps of info on the dyno charts page. Weigh it all up though - a single might still be cost effective when you consider all of the labour (and future labour) and the supporting mods you have to do anyway like ECU, fuel pump, injectors, cam gears. You probably want to check if factory dumps and exhaust will flow well enough so if you're changing that, then you may be better off with single as well.
  7. Ok, fluttering and reliability don't go together. If you really want the stututututu, go single but its not good for the turbo.
  8. 500hp is pretty easy to get to these days but assuming cheap and reliable is a balancing act. Depending on the past life of your car, you could get there. I got to close to that with garret twins (-5s), intercooler (wasn't really a limiting factor though), exhaust, fuel pump, fuel reg, cam gears, injectors and ecu and that was BP98. With e85, it should be much easier. As others have said, think about ongoing flexibility and try and buy things that will support a change in mind. ECU, decent in-tank pump (E85 compatible), fuel reg, exhaust, intercooler won't really down the track so you're better off getting these right.
  9. Seek out @Chris Rogers, absolute gun when it comes to electronics on these things - he's in Texas now I think
  10. If its the sat nav you're talking about, its the button just to the right of the two 3.5mm holes and from memory, its the one on the right for aux. Mine stopped working (the sat nav unit) a couple of years ago so can't check sorry.
  11. Factory gold badges. Heard the last set went for $1000 on ebay.
  12. I always notice more than others but its close enough. The panel beater ordered the paint through their supplier who ordered part of the mix from Nissan (from memory). The minimum size of whatever came from Nissan had to be 650mL - $495 which was more than enough for my repair. Total cost for the bumper including a $30 V-Spec decal from Nissan was $1000 4 years ago.
  13. I've had my bumper painted due to someone rubbing against it pulling out of a carpark. I wouldn't say its perfect but pretty unnoticeable - it blends both with the quarter panel and tailight cover. Only problem now is the fuel marks
  14. Just thought I'd throw in - do you have wheels that will easily clear the bigger brakes?
  15. True. I had the standard flaking problem so was able to get the replacement bits sent to me. Not sure on whats going on with yours. You can try joining the R34 GTR Owners clubs on Facebook and try there - few more owners and issues shared there. Then you'll know what to order.
  16. Maybe send pics to R34 GTR MFD in Facebook - he supplies replacement parts and repairs
  17. I'd check with your preferred tuner in terms of what ECU's they can work with and of course the eventual goals of the car.
  18. Depends on the ECU - Mine's a Vipec (older model) - injector duty and throttle don't display properly but rest is fine. It was resolved on newer Vipecs. Lots of others work properly - PowerFC, Haltechs, newer Vipec/Link
  19. Symptoms sound similar to when my CAS went
