  1. Agreed. I reckon the EFR7670 is going to be pushing it to even break 400kw,depen on dyno... And EFR8374 will need more time to spool than that
  2. Lol! I can't wait, regardless. Good times eminent
  3. Oh hell yes. Keen
  4. Definitely keen, I arrive next Saturday and around until the day after WTAC :-)
  5. Is it a bad thing to say now I stopped developing my R33 because I want to go to an EVO 9 as well? Not that I care, hahaha:ph34r:
  6. Its in line with what I would have expected on a hubber - if not still a little shy of potential. I'd expect a cranked up 6262 to be able to crack 500rwkw on a rolling road, too.
  7. Any more word on your car?
  8. Lol was wondering, that is a heap on the 1200s. Looking forward to video!
  9. Ran between 15-18psi on mine (mostly 16-18 over the last 3 years hahaha) for about 4 years and built up an insane amount of kms over that time, commuting, road tripping, driving like a dork, letting others drive like dorks, drag racing, a few laps of the track and the last time it hit the dyno it made it's highest ever number on that particular dyno - the last compression test was at around 170-180,000km from memory (GT3076R when on it at around 100,000km) was within 10psi across all 6. If the tuning has been and will be good and there have been no other issues (ie, triggering issues) which might cause detonation or whatever then it should be fine.
  10. I have been prattling on about them for YEARS, and just get chortled at like people think it is inflated dyno results or whatever. Had a bit of that a few years ago on this forum but now it's the new black.
  11. Awesome result man Got to be happy with that, had no doubt that a 6262 would make that kind of power but still cool to see somewhere here throw it down in a GTR along with a decent power delivery Going to be an animal! I am rapt that people in Oz are embracing these (Precision CEA and FP HTA turbos), I wish people in NZ would join this decade too
  12. Apologies for the sound quality in this clip, its awful - and a shame because the car sounds pretty cool IRL, but here is the Silvia I have mentioned a few times doing it's first track outing running a Kando TD05-16G... was hoping sound would come out better so you can tell how good response etc is, but I think the clip still shows how effortless and generous it's power delivery is... even though it probably has another useful 7psi of boost which could be utilised
  13. What cams are you running?
  14. Nice work! That is an awesome power delivery, and more in it is always a bonus :-D SCR48 is in Perth, silly me. Be interesting to compare the results, what are the odds two 2530/6466 setups would be tuned on the same day?
  15. Any updates? Apparently Unigroup did 470kw with a similar setup today, you are having yours tuned by Allstar?
  16. Guessing that could be Scr 48
  17. How do you figure this? Many of the best performance engines are square, or very close to it. Check out SR20DET, K20A, 2JZGTE, 4G63 etc... I would take any of those over any of the options on the other list
  18. Good luck for this, looking forward to seeing an (or a few) R33 going nicely at the event What is the new turbo?
  19. Awesome, good luck
  20. EVOs tend to drive turbos better cc for cc.... unfortunately
  21. Awesome! Good luck, look forward to seeing how this goes :-D
  22. 4000rpm, oops. Not sure if I can blame autocorrect on that
  23. Been waiting for this kind of thing to start filtering through - a twin scroll EFR9180 on a 2.2litre EVO X: Mods: 2008 Evo X GSR Fuel: 93 Octane + Meth Mods: Moore Automotive Built 2.2L (Manley 94mm Stroker Kit with Turbo Tuff Rods and ACL Bearings) AMS TMP Cams Kelford Valve Springs Ferrea Intake Valves SuperTech Inconel Exhaust Valves Cosworth 1.3mm HeadGasket ARP 625+ Head Studs JDL built T4 Twin-Scroll Turbo Manifold Borg Warner EFR9180 (T4 TS) Turbo Tial MV-S Wastegates (open dump) Moore Automotive Custom 3.5" Turbo-back Exhaust and Dump Tubes Moore Automotive 3.5" Intake, 2.5" UICP, 2.75" LICP ETS 4" Intercooler ID1300 Injectors Walbro 400 Fuel Pump Moore Automotive modified Fuel Pump Housing with -6AN outlet -6AN Fuel Feed Line AMS Fuel Rail MAP FPR Kit with FuelLab Regulator Snow Performance Direct Port Meth Injection Kit Exedy Triple Disc Clutch Jack's Built Transmission STOCK Sleeves, Head, Intake Manifold, and Throttle Body Apparently was running out of fuel system - he reckons he needs to (and may?) upgrade the fuel system to get more out of it, definitely didn't reach the limit of the flow of the 9180. 25psi by just after 25psi for a 94lb/min turbo on a 2.2litre is offensively good. Its just dirty... basically this is better than PT6466 spool and better than PT6766 flow, for those who are obsessed with Precision turbos.
