  1. Hey guys, I am regretfully having to sell my r34 GTT with minor front end damage. The car was in a small scuff at at set of lights a few weeks before rego inspection, and due to my needing to move I have to get rid of it. The damage was bonnet, reo and headlight clips. I already have a replacement bonnet in silver and a new reo bar ready to get fitted to the car, all it would need for rego is the headlight clips fixed and a new drivers side window motor as the old one is failing. The engine is stock, only modifications on the car are Nismo suspension and an aftermarket security system. It's manual, electric sunroof and has around 120,000kms. I am looking for around $6000 ono with the new bonnet and reo thrown in for you too I would be interested in a swap for something else with some registration. Please feel free to ask me anything! Located Canberra.
  2. Selling my R34 GTT Series 2 2001 with minor front end damage. The car was in a small crash that was my fault, had it taken to Hume Bodyworks and they advised damage wasn't severe, only needs a new bonnet, reo and headlights clips replaced. I have a replacement silver bonnet and new reo ready to go and be fitted, as much as I want to keep it I am moving to Melbourne in a new few months and probably won't need it there and I can no longer keep at it at my parents place where I was fixing it. Only other issue I know of with the car is that the drivers side window motor is playing up so needs replacing. Aside from that the car is in great condition, only modifications are Nismo suspension and an upgraded security system. Manual, around 115,000kms,, White, sunroof and no mods at all on the engine. I am selling it with the bonnet and reo bar for $6000 ONO, just due to the move and not wanting to spend more money I could use for my move. If anyone also has something that would be a good daily I would also be interested in a swap. Very regrettable sale, please PM for pics or any more information thanks
  3. Hey guys, Posted this in for sale thread but decided to make a topic for it instead, maybe to see if anyone has been in a similar position and has some advice. might be looking to sell my R34 GT-T 2001 The car has been in a very minor crash at a set of lights, had it looked over by a couple repair places and they have said that the structural parts of the car are 100% fine but it will need a new bonnet due to it being a bit bent and the headlights have small cracks on top where the plastic brakets holding them on snapped. The car needs to go over registration at the end of the month, and I may be moving so not sure if it worth me repairing it and the rest just to maybe not really need it in Melbourne. The car is mechanically great, and also is almost completely stock so would be a great starting point for someone wanting to build something amazing! I really don't want to sell it, I payed $14,000 for it last year, but I also think it would be best with someone who could apprecaite it more. I'd much rather sell it on here to someone who I know will take good care of it, and I don't really know how much it would be worth as I've heard offers from $1000 all the way up $7000. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in buying it or swapping for something more suited for what I need, like a Subaru Liberty or something. Thanks guys, if you would like photos or have any advice please feel free to message me! Also in case you were wondering I didn't have comprehensive so my insurance wouldn't cover my car, only reason can't get it repaired as I was the one repsonsible. If anyone has an experience in this would be greatly appreciated, I got quoted if I brought in a new bonnet, headlights and maaaybe reo bar just to be safe they could install and line everything up back together for a few hundred.

  5. Haha I think that was me in the 34 man! Just bought it from Brad on the forums here. Close to stock, has nismo suspension and a boost controller due a to a faulty solenoid, but it's only set to like 8PSI. I sold my old buggered Silver R33 just before I got it, so saw you and was like oh hell yeah.
  6. looking to buy an R34 GTT, seeing whats around at the moment, within the range of 10-15K
  7. Hi guys, in the next couple months gonna be looking for a new skyline in the range of around $10,000 to $14,000, preferably an R33 or R34. Just seeing if there was much decent in the way of clean not-crazily modified ones in ACT at the moment. Cheers!
  8. Selling a Do-Luck Front bar for an R33 series 2. $275 ONO Requires sanding and painting, only test fitted once.
  9. Thanks for all the help guys. Yeah I usually go to Trojan anyway. Appreciate it.
  10. Wow yeah, I found some "stockish" rebuild quotes and what not for around the 4-5k mark, forged was closer to anywhere from 7 or 8K up to 12K
  11. Yeah my only worry would be buying another 2nd hand RB25 just to get unlucky and it fail again, at least with a re-build it's a little more piece of mind. The goal would be for reliability, thanks for the advice mate
  12. Hey guys, recently my R33 series 2 had a hissy fit and decided it didn't want to play properely anymore. When it was being checked back over I found out I had ridiculously low compression across all six. Since then I bought myself a cheap little run-about and am looking into what would be the smartest option at this point for a student earning crap-all to nothing. Basically I'd love to return the car to a real strong daily, I'm not that big on high-power figures but I had a couple of questions regarding the smartest option. I could get a replacement Rb25 and lop it in, but let's face it, these engines aren't getting any younger and there's no such thing as a "grandma'd RB25". Do you reckon it would be best to just save and get my current engine re-built? If so, is there anyone good with them here in ACT? Any help would be really appreciated, thanks guys.
  13. Hi guys, recently my mum decided it'd be really fun to reverse into and scrape and dent my passenger side door. Thankfully my mate had a spare one in the same colour, so we decided to try and whack that one on. He really needs the door lock from it however (he's selling all his locks as a set) so we need to get in there, rip the old bugger in and slap the one in from my old door. Is there a simple way to remove the lock? Or is it a pain in the butt job I've dug myself into a bit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
