  1. as the title really guys, after a set of eyelet style coilovers for my 96 S1 awd. Preferably in Melbourne what you got?
  2. id be well up for this - the fgoh boxes looked great but was too late to the table. Left side for a 12" sub would be fantastic - would you be able to match the carpet to suit too?
  3. spotted Silver S2 on Peninsula link towards Mornington tonight at around 10pm, was driving the Mrs Newbie Beetle. Shame I wasnt in my stagea, saying that if I was I wouldnt have spotted the s2 as Id have been half way home by then
  4. trying to trace a couple of keys, my boy destroyed the electrical fob on mine and looking local instead of japan
  5. Managed to find the time yesterday to get the plugs and coils out. Covered coils in silecone. Replaced plugs made sure they were tapped to 0.8. Degreased the engine and replaced the rocker breather hose. Started up and wad missfiring hard. Checked this morning and coil plug slightly off. No more hesitation at 3k and running like a dream
  6. cheers dude, its going to be hard work getting it roadworthy'd over here though sadly.. fibreglass wings, bonnet and decklid, lexan windows, huge roll cage, fuel cell and lots of original metal cut out for weight saving.. 4" narrowed beam, raised gearbox are all going to be ball ache to get certified over here
  7. My other car, currently in a lock up in Wales awaiting money to ship
  8. Plugs were done around 10k ago. And gapped to 0.8 then. Will replace plugs when I inspect the coils today too

wow dude, wayto fire up an old thread!
  10. Not done much to mine recently. But have just acquired a 12" long crack in the windscreen on the lower passenger side.. Then today taking my little boy swimming I parked on a hill (rear down to the left) with not much fuel, car started fine, reversed went up said hill out of the swim center and car cut out, with lack of fuel. Light didnt even flicker on the way up there, but was on nice and bright when I returned.. All the fuel must have moved away from the fuel pump and got me stranded on a hill. Thinking my coils are on theyre way out also, cars just clocked 170,000km and getting some crazy hesitation under boost around the 3,500 rpm mark.. Going to pop the coils out tomorrow for a closer inspection.. One day I will get around to ordering some coilovers, bigger brakes and some tasty wheels, but for now itll be general maintenance and unwanted repairs
  11. drove from melbourne to byron bay for blues fest at easter. in the back we had 3 big plastic boxes filled with food and camping gear, kingsize matress topper and all of our bags, esky pram and much more filling the boot. then in the roof box we had the tent and decorations, rear foot wells were filled with toys to keep the little boy happy incredible wagon for touring shame I was getting a big of surge under load (think my coil packs need looking at)
  12. thats some hectic stretching right there! check tyre stretch out dude, loads of pictures of loads of stretch http://tyrestretch.com/
  13. Got back in the car after work and knocking still there. Turned Climate control unit on and it was stuck on 18 degrees. Pulled out. Removed both plugs. Back in and knocking stopped. Been reading about the actuator on 33 skylines all evening and getting a mild stress on for some hard work. I can go back to planning my drive to Byron bay now. Couldn't handle that knock for 4000km
  14. ive found a noticeable change in fuel economy since having a stage 2 shift kit fitted to my S1RS4
