  1. Haha nah, it's the one from Lalor. It's on the first page of the for sale section now.
  2. Car is north of Melbourne. Lalor. I've done the first inspection. From my mechanical experience it looks reasonable but I need someone to look over it more thoroughly in case I missed some things. Would really appreciate it as this is my first GTR. Hopefully someone is available either Friday or Saturday. Cheers!

  4. Hahah I noticed that too. Well when I did some digggin' I found that the car isn't stock really at all. Look at this advertisment from June: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-GTR-32-Twin-Turbo-5sp-Manual-RB26-/161044162558?_uhb=1&pt=AU_Cars&hash=item257efae7fe&nma=true&si=CRy%252BUltF96%252FbNlUNkLIOo5HabTI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 300KWATW.
  5. I understand this is also for sale on these forums and the owner regularly posts too. Hopefully someone can give me some history on the car though, I understand it's been selling since June @ $23,000. Now for $15,000. Help would be greatly appreciated. You can PM me too. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-1990/SSE-AD-2239660/?Cr=15 Thanks a million.
  6. Are you able to crack down on post titles? Things like [sTATE] should be mandatory. The amount of times having to click on a thread to find out the part or car is on the other side of the country is frustrating. Other mandatory title details should be what transmission and year of manufacture. Ideal title EG: [VIC] 1997 R33 GTS-T RWC NEG -- [sYD] 1992 R32 GTR etc. People don't seem to understand that having a standard template makes everyone's life much easier. I don't understand how hard it is for people to follow simple rules?
  7. I am in the process of trying to find an excellent condition R33 GTS-T Series 2 Skyline. The key things I'm looking for include: - Low kilometers - No accident history - Clean, straight body with no aftermarket bodykit (Stock looking outside, wheels are fine) - Must be 5 speed manual - Modifications are fine as long as they have been done properly - Legal exhaust? - Service logs or proof of important servicing (timing belt etc) - Import papers if applicable - REG AND RWC Hopefully this might catch someones attention. I obviously will continue looking, but I thought I'd put this up here just in case. Thanks!
  8. I dunno. I constantly see R33 S2 GTS-Ts with the same amount of k's on Gumtree and Carsales selling for 9-12K. But yeah, 14.5.... a bit too much. Unless it's absolutely worked or has genuine very low ks.
  9. Cheers. Haha yeah was talking only about the electrical system, obviously the mechanics of the car is different. Just curious is this is the best way to do so or if there is something else which is better/has better software etc. The software included with ECUTALK would also tell me things like A/F ratio, sensor information etc, correct? It would be handy to know the tune it's running etc, if it displays all that info. I guess I'll check the website. Yeah that's what I meant lol Are there any particular fault codes I should ignore or look out for?
  10. Unsure if there is anything better out there and if this is a good buy for inspecting/general maintenance and does it work with R32/33/34 skylines? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ECUTalk-USB-Nissan-Consult-Cable-Skyline-Silvia-300ZX-Pulsar-200SX-Micra-NX-/321144840234?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac5b9602a Also if you can, I'll be inspecting a skyline soon. Wondering if you could give me any skyline specific tips, like what to look for specifically when I view the ECU information. Should I run through all the cylinders individually (turn off ignition one by one) to check for misfires etc? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.
  11. IF this was in Victoria, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Congrats to the seller. Excellent buy!
