  1. Thanks for that guys will be shore to keep my eyes open, when shopping.
  2. Hi all this may sound a little trivial to some, but im in the market for a R33 GTR V-Spec and I have been looking on the carsales website under BNCR33GTR V-Spec. However I was wondering if there were some tell tail signs other than the obvious like badging (which can be misleading at the best of times) to tell the two apart. Is there a difference in the vin numbers or something else like that? I'm just trying to avoid getting shafted, and getting something that is not what I want. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
  3. Thanks for the offer Brenton, but at the moment I'm saving all of the folding stuff for the car, and then it will be at least a 3 yr build.
  4. Thanks for the info guys, may end up going with just the one fixed and the other reclining. Brenton nothing against 4 doors but Ive been hanging for a V-spec now for over 2 years, with a bit of luck and god willing I may finally be able to get one at the end of the year. Thanks again for all your help guys.
  5. Hi all how has the local seen been doing down here of late it has been a long time since I posted here. Have been busy with moving and my wife having our first child (a baby girl). My question to the people in the know is this! If I was to put a fixed bucket seat on the drivers side and just a normal reclyning one on the passangers side, would it be illegal to have passangers in the back or say a baby seat? Just trying to work out wheather there is a chance of having both or if I will have to sacrafice one or the other. Thanks for any info, will be looking forward to catching up with some of you guys and gals when I get the chance.
  6. To those out there in the know how do you load photos, ive done what has been implied but to no avail. The other day i was trying to load two photos onto the forum, i went into browse and found the photos that i wanted and then clicked on attatch this and waited for it to load. Once the inprogress bar (green bar down the bottom) had finished nothing happened and it wouldnt let me post the photos. I was wondering if there is a size requiremant for the photosor something else that is required as i have not been able to load a single photo onto the forum. Thanks for you help
  7. why dont you hire the owner of the GTR to drive it for you instead. That way, you still get the car you want and there is not going to be any unexpecting trees in the way. If your lucky the guy might even show it off for you. If i was living there i would probs help you out, but we are still waiting for the house to sell b4 we move.
  8. the car that you found in carsals looks like a good buy, and will save you some money as there are already some mods on it. Also i noticed that in your parts list there was nothing about an ecu. Im just wondering if you are intending to purchase one of these at a later date or are you going to do without. My preferance would be to buy a power fc, but they cost 2k with the hand controller included.
  9. I didnt think the RAA was that bad, ive always known them to have a good rep. Could have been a newbie to the jobperhaps. But i think that i will be taking a mechanic friend, its the only way to go.
  10. Sorry to hear about the bad news mate. I do hope that things take a turn for the better. The idea that HOSTILE had about the place to take your car sounds like a good one. As im from interstate at the moment but will be moving down in a couple of months and then shopping for my V-Spec, so knowledge of places to take it for performance work would be greatly appriciated.
  11. Vange has the idea. lessons with an instructor is the way to go. But if not shorly there is someone you or your parents know that will have a manual that can help. Have fun with the 32 when you get it
  12. There not to bad, but they deffinatly have some vectra looks. I like the look of the ss better than the statesmen (its too common a shape). Like nick though i hope they do well but i think there are enough aussies out there to keep it alive. Hopefully with them using overseas parts the price will be reduced as its way out priced at the moment.
