I have a completely stock r33 gtst low mileage 88k and was looking at upgrading the to a bigger turbo just wondering what people opinions are on doing this on a stock car,what turbo to go for and what would be involved to do it thanks kirbz-

Bendix brake pads and yes they where bed in properly also the new disks

Can't work this out and it is really starting to do my head in long story short the car had bad brakes machined the disks... Changed the brake pads.. Still squealing!!! So I just put on a set of rda slotted drilled rotors on the front brake pads are still new and....... Still squealing any idea's?

Ok so been through another tank of petrol didn't work any other ideas??

Has the order been done yet?

I've had the o2 sensor changed today ($110 from bursons) and read a instructional post on cleaning the AAC might give that a go on Monday cheers

Hey everyone one I know I need to go see a mechanic but was wondering could anyone shed some light on my problems My car has done a tad over 88,000 ks 2 problems not sure if there related 1st : my car seems to idle very weird the car ideals at about 1100 on a cold start up after a few minutes I drops down which I believe is normal problem is once the car warms up it idles very low and bounces between 550 to 800 and the car seems bumpy/splutery when sitting there! 2nd : my fuel consumption is crazy!! I am lucky to get 200ks to a tank most of the time 180ks my tank takes 50 liters and cost about $88 always premium you I drive a little reckless sometimes but not completely thrashing the car and I consistently get these ks only Any I for would be greatly appreciated and if anyone know any good skyline mechanics in the northern suburbs of Melbourne (mill park, thomastown, heidelberg,Epping) please let me know thanks again Jeff

I got a r33 gtst hooked up a screamer pipe sound sick for something different but lost mega power seems like turbos laging heaps more anyone know about this?

Any body ever seen or no if there is such thing as a CD player for a car that has built in tacho's/gauges boost so on ? Cheers in advance

hey everyone just looking for abit of some info recently just got my first skyline and is now registered im looking a doing a few thing to it if anyone can steer me in the wright direction eg brands i don't want the top of the line but i want reasonably priced quality stuff thanks again any help in appreciated also im located in the northern suburbs Melbourne * turbo timer * boost controller * remote start / alarm system / key less entry * front mount inter cooler * exhaust * front sway bar * suspension *after also if you can think of any other things i can do that isn't to expensive to boost performance thanks again sorry i am just new to this and would love to learn

From my research so far I believe it may be A. Valve stem seals Or B. turbo seal Or C. Pistons Has anybody fixed any of these issues before and what sort of cost was it?

Just bought a gtst with 90k's on the clock the car is completely immaculate! Not one drip of oil under the good even all the original sticker arnt faded The guy sold the car with a blown clutch so gonna put in a excedy heavy duty clutch So my problem is the car is blowing white smoke all the time even when the car is heated up The car does not over heat I haven't drove the car as its clutch is blown Sorry if I sound stupid but it's my first car and have no idea if no one has any idea does anyone know a good skyline mechanic in northern suburbs of Melbourne?
