  1. Yeah thats the next on he list hey. It's just the engine is running so smoothly hey. I got a feeling the timing belt is way to tight, but not sure if it could sap that much power. Cheers Jay
  2. Could the belt being to tight cause a big drop in power????? I have a big dilema lol, had it all apart like three times checking all the timing marks were correct. So dont know what the problem is now!! Cheers Jay
  3. Well, ill start from the beginning. cam belt tensioner fails, belt slips who know how many teeth. No biggy, got a timing kit, fixed it up. But, ever since, its got NO power. Th turbo makes boost fine, engine sounds sweet as ever. Just no power!!! Today we pulled it apart to check ALL the timing alignments, all were correct. put it back together, got out the timing light got the ignition spot on. And still the same!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS!!!   7. okay guys, im gonig to build an RB30 But, im going to do the bottom end as well, with forged pistons and rods ect. how do you achieve 9:1 comp ratio with the rb26/25 heads? I've seen the light adn have decided not to f**k around Cheers Jay

  11. Hy guys I'm in the same position as r32 4door drifting. Im considering the 2.4 route IF i can get the GTR crank and rods at a good price. I have a workshop at my disposal so the only labour ill be paying for is the balancing etc of internals. IMO, RB30 would end up more expensive as you'd need new plenum, exhaust manifold to bolt up to the 25 head, cost of 25 head etc. So, if i already have the RB20, can get crank and rods for ~$500. Then do some head work to make it flow better why wouldnt this be a better option? Would have to change any wiring or anything either as you;d be bolting the same engine back in? Any input appreciated. Cheers Jay

  17. Hey peeps, gotta rebuild my engine so thought i might as well do some basic mods to it. Im going to use a KKR430 turbo with supporting harware. My question is, will a ECU re-map suffice for ~200rwkw? Im in Newcastle, and will be happy to travel for a GOOD tune. Or should i just get a LTX12 Cheers Jay
  18. Has any one plumbed the AFM as a blow through setup? Wouldn't be too hard to plumb in just b4 the throtle... Just a thought
