  1. If you are looking for a p-plater fun weekend car - I have an AP1 S2000... 4.44 diff and some other fun stuff. I need a more work appropriate car
  2. Is the car in Canberra or Sydney? Do you have any pictures of the rust on firewall?
  3. Bump. Price is v negotiable at the moment as I simply cannot be bothered taking a day off work or study to travel to my parents and rego it.
  4. Ok I can't edit the post but its not in Campbelltown its on the North Shore
  5. After owning this car for about 14 months its time for me to sell. I moved to an apartment with no car park and as a result the car has sat in my parents garage for about 6 months and I have driven it 3 times during that period. I took it to get a pink slip (because i forget that rego wasn't due til September) and my mechanic told me i had done 2 or 3000 kms since my last pink slip. Its a total waste sitting there. I bought it off a forum member mid last year because it was the best looked after example I saw plus it came with some goodies. I have copy pasted a chunk of his for sale post because really little has changed. Specs '03 350gt V35 skyline (top of the range) 3.5L VQ35DE 6 speed manual Brembo brakes all round Half leather/ half swede seats Bose Stereo system Factory HID's 9XXXX KM ( will confirm next time I jump in it) Mods -Tananbe Coilovers -Fujibitso stainless steel exhaust (stock extractors but from there back is aftermarket) -Veilside Andrew Golt wheels, 19x9+9 and 19x10.5+5 -350z 'Rev up' Intake. -Clutch apparetly Excedy HD, nice bite but not heavy for everyday driving -OEM style badgeless grill -Nismo Leather gear knob -Clear side indicators -Front number plate holder deleted and tow hook cover sourced -Extended wheel studs installed all round Pros: Tyres are pretty new Replaced the front brakes/pads and will provide rear discs and pads (EBC red from memory) It gets regularly serviced and I will service it again in the near future before I turn it over Insurance risk just got reviewed! The bad Body isn't perfect. The passenger side door has a scrape on it and there are scratches from when it was much lower. I raised it so I could get in my driveway The front lower control arm bushes are a bit munted. I found this out when i took it to get a wheel alignment. This should cost about $300 bucks or so to fix and I have factored it into the price. Rego is due in September Price wise I'm after about 14k considering that there isn't much rego left. Contact on cameronjpascoe at gmail.com or zero four 31679674 Please message during work hours or if you don't get through as I have uni at night as well. Located campbelltown
  6. If you are going to use spacers 1 - Make sure they are hubcentric 2 - Bolt ons are the way to go I'm not sure what the standard offset is, but maybe you could get a 15mm bolt on spacer.
  7. It depends - was the car slammed, did it get driven on good roads, tracked etc etc. Can't argue with the price. The reality is that those are very high quality coilovers. I'm sure if you take car of them they will last 50000+kms. But there is always a risk buying second hand bits. Caveat emptor.
  8. I have an 03 manual 350gt. The cd stacker in mine has pooped itself. G/box is fine though. I get the feeling that all this nonsense about synchros chopping themselves in the CD001 gearbox is probably a lot due to mishandling of the gearbox. I haven't checked yet, but was told that the gates for 3/5 are shared, so you really have to place it otherwise you will just crunch gear after gear. The trim levels of the 05+ are a little nicer as well, so there is that. 22-25k for a 350gt? I hope you don't pay that much for one. It's a buyers market out there.

  10. It will be more expensive if you don't like the set you buy/they are low quality and end up leaking and you have to replace them. Buying the good stuff up front greatly reduces replacement cost - the old saying 'do it right, do it once'
  11. Never cheap out on suspension, tyres, or brakes. Its the only thing between you and the road.
  12. Greddy + Chargespeed is what I would vote for if I had a gun to my head. Honestly though, the 3 gtr front bars look absolute trash. It's really cheap and doesn't suit the car. Also not a big fan of people putting carbon/FRP bonnets on what is, for all intents and purposes, a luxury GT car. Unless you are packing big horsepower, there is no need for it
  13. Take this with a grain of salt - I haven't experienced each of these in a V35. BC Coilovers are great entry level coilovers. They are good quality kit but nothing special. I generally try to stick away from second hand coilovers, but I would probably make an exception for the KW V3/Ohlins set. HKS probably isn't worth buying second hand and I would be wary of any japanese coilover because they tend to have spring rates on the high side - not the best for street driving. The other option which I would definitely consider is the Fortune Auto 500 series. They don't make them specifically for the 350gt, but I believe you can just throw in a 350z set. They are about $1500 new and my understanding is that they are a great coilover at a fantastic price for street driving.
  14. Hey guys, new 2003 350gt owner here. I only got one set of keys with the car. I have had a browse around on the internet trying to find replacement keys to no real avail. I have attached a picture of the set. I have figured out that the little button one is my immobiliser key so Ill have to get in touch with the manufacturer of them to see if I can get another from them. But for the main key, is this one shared with any other cars which were available in Australia? Am I pretty much stuck with dealing with Nissan Australia to buy the actual spare and then can I get it cut at other places (I have seen Bells Locksmith/Abbotts Locksmith/JapLink mentioned) or do I just pull out the KY and warm up my credit card swiping arm?
