  2. When I purchased my R33 it came with central locking and it was all working fine, up until the battery died one day. Ever since the battery died the central locking stopped working. Both the box and remote have no name/brand written on them, and the box has no buttons on it whatsoever and is completely sealed. Is there any way to reset or fix this problem or should I just rip it out and put a new system in?
  3. Hey guys, as of late my speedo has been a bit "temporary" in the way it wants to work. Sometimes when I take off it doesn't work at all, and when I get to 60 or 80, it shoots straight up to the correct speed. Other times it sits on 0 regardless of my speed until I give the top of the dash one solid thump and then it begins to work perfectly. Faulty connection maybe?
  4. Just an update, purchased the LED's from ZPE as suggested and have had absolutely no issues with them for over 5 weeks.
  5. Hey guys, just wondering if these will fit my 33. XXR 536 17 x 9 + 30 17 x 10 + 26
  6. So I purchased an R33 GTS-t LSD diff with the intention of putting it in my N/A. Both diffs are R200's so should be easy. To my surprise the half shafts on my N/A are a 3x2 bolt pattern and the GTS-t diff is a 5x1 bolt pattern. No problem I thought, I'll just swap the half shafts out of my single spinner and put them in the LSD. Wrong. The bloody things were different. So my question is, how should I go about getting an LSD in my N/A R33?
  7. Had no issues with my stock dash lights, other than the dull yellow colour, so I decided to change them to bright white LED's. I purchased these LED's from eBay. I installed them, and for about a week they worked fine with no issues and I am very happy with the colour, but then 2 of the 5 lights started to flicker. Recently a 3rd light is starting to flicker as well. Progressively this has gotten worse. When I say 'flicker' I don't think they turn off completely, but they sporadically dull and then light up again. This only happens when the car is running. They work fine if the car is off. Not sure if I plugged the looms back in poorly or I knocked a wire loose, or if these eBay LED's are just crappy quality. Just wondering if anyone could help me out on discovering the issue. Thanks guys!
  8. Cant find any pictures of steelies on an R33 and was just wondering what it would look like. Does anyone have any pictures or advice, all opinions are welcome! Thanks!
  9. My left rear coilover is making a knocking sound when going over bumps sometimes. It also makes the sound when I push down on that side of the boot and 'bounce' the car. I put some lubricant on it and the noise went away for a day or so, and now its back the very next day. I took the whole thing out and installed it again, but it still knocks. The left right coilover makes no noise whatsoever.
  10. Looking to buy an exhaust for my N/A R33, I know there are heaps for sale on this forum but all the ones I have seen are too big. Currently looking at 2.5" as I feel any larger will be too big for the N/A . If I'm wrong please correct me as it'll open up my options to what size I can get.
  11. I have been able to find heaps of 5x114.3 stud patterned rims to suit r33det's. But unfortunately my N/A R33 has a 4 bolt stud pattern and I can't find many 4 stud wheels that I like, or many that are for sale. Does anyone know of any decent 4x114.3 rims? or Would I be better off converting to the 5x114.3 stud pattern, and if so, how would I go about that and what prices would I be looking at? Cheers guys!
