  1. Sounds like you got yourself a ripper of a car, except it may have a suspect service history. Just a relay hey?
  2. Tough break Bris. Awesome car though.
  3. Man that's a trick looking engine cover you got there. I went down to super cheap this arvo to see if I could pick one up for my 25DE auto and they had run out. The shiney bits on the right was additional to the kit. Did you have to pay much more for those??
  4. I thought I would share one of my old projects. In the search for my braking power, I decided to bolt up some 300mm discs to my Telstar. (yeah yeah, get over it ) I tried fiddling with R32/R33 GTS-t stuff, but I didn't want to cut mounting tabs off the calipers or cut into the knuckles. After searching the DBA catalogue, Integra Type S discs seemed like a good choice as they were close to being identical except for the increase in diameter as seen below. I decided to make up a dogbone bracket to mount the standard caliper bracket, so made a template out of 19mm thick wood to make sure my measurements were right. After I had it all sorted, I then machined it up at work and turned up some stainless steel sleeves. Then the brackets were treated to a light bead blasting. Template/trial bracket. All done! Disc size comparison. Bolting them up. Sitting behind 16" and 17" wheels. They've been on about 3 different cars I've owned over the past 4/5 years and have worked flawlessly. They now have a pair of RS Liberty twin piston sliders in the standard brackets. with Goodridge braded lines. They are soon to be replaced with EVO 6 discs and calipers front and rear
  5. Here they are painted with the exstinuisher mounts. As I wanted the harness mounts to be nice and solid, I decided to weld a mount to the stardard seat rail mount on the tunnel. Also replaced the standard B pillar seatbelt mount. And here are the seats all mounted.
  6. Hi Guys, I thought I'd share the build on my seat rails to fit a pair of Sparco Evo Juniors into a Telstar. (Yeah, yeah, get over it ) As there are no off the shelf seat rails readily available, I decided to build up some rails myself. That and I wanted them with exstinguisher mounts. As I wanted them nice an low I decided to use some 50 x 25 box tubing with some 6mm strap for the mounting tabs. The front mounting tabs were heated and shaped. I added as much bracing as I could so I could get them mod plated. Onto the Pics!
