  6. Nobody ? from general research i can't find any definitive answers, do the following sound safe? Water Temp - 90' Oil Temp - 115' or 130'? Oil pressure - this one seems hard to find, low pressure warning should be around 20PSI?
  7. Hi Guys, I am having some custom gauges made up to suit an R33 RB26DETT engine, I want to get Yellow and Red permanent warning marks put on the gauges to match the style of the existing gauges. I am not quite sure where i would find this information, so putting it out there for the common consensus! What would be consistent Warning and Danger levels for the following sensors: Water Temperature (degrees Celsius) Oil Temperature (degrees Celsius) Oil Pressure (PSI) Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback
  8. Thanks, i appreciate you taking the time and posting the Pic, will try and guesstimate it off the car over the weekend then
  9. Hi Guys, Does anyone know if Power steering reservoirs and hoses to the pump are generally interchangeable? I am looking for a Power steering reservoir to match an R33 RB26DETT pump.. I don't have any standard mountings in the car at the moment, so if possible i would prefer to get a nicer looking steering reservoir (like the 350Z one perhaps?), the R33 one is kind of ugly Could i get an R34 GTR or a 350/370Z reservoir and hoses and fit them straight to the R33 GTR pump? Thanks guys
  10. Thanks mate, will do! If you have them handy, can you tell me if the R32/R33 and R34 hoses are that much different? are they different bends, or just lengths or something?
  11. Hi Guys, Does anyone have an old RB26 top radiator hose (probably R32/R33) they no longer need? just looking for a very cheap 2nd hand one to check it fits before buying a silicon kit (the RB26 is going into an old skyline). Prefer pickup either around central Sydney or around Hills area on the weekend, but will take a posted one if its all i can get Thanks guys! Kent
  12. R32 RB26DETT engine with forged CP pistons and ARP stud kit- professionally built by the previous owner, water pump, timing belt etc. were replaced at the time. Polished cam covers, painted blue centre cover, clear front covers. comes with twin turbo's, throttle bodies, intake manifold, wiring loom, standard computer, coil packs, CAS (though not shown in the photo), knock sensors etc. Also comes with 2x AFM's, comes with modified front aluminimum sump for RWD RB25DET 5 speed gearbox with RB26DETT gear set and short shift kit Nismo RB26DETT single plate clutch and nismo lightened flywheel brand new nissan gearbox/engine mount bolts what's missing a couple of bolts (ie. cas mount bolts, ignitor bolts, knock sensor bolts, flywheel bolts) the Air intake temperature and water temp sensor (cheap enough new) Injector dropping resistor should drop right into a GTST (previous owner had it fitted to a VL commodore, and ran it for 6 months after building it) the photos attached are of the engine, will get photo's of the gearbox etc. on the weekend (but it looks like a gearbox ). Engine is currently on an engine stand, which will go with the engine $5500 pickup only from the hills district (gearbox alone is worth $1500), will not split..
  13. Hi Mate, just pm'd you my contact details, let me know if you don't/can't get it thanks Kent
  14. Hi Guys, I have an Asus W90VP-A1 laptop for sale. It is actually quite an attractive laptop (with leather and brushed aluminimum highlights) and it is practically brand new!, it has only been used a handfull of times. I bought it to replace my ageing 17" HP notebook which i use for work, but unfortunately the ASus is too big to carry around, and i don't really need another PC at home. The Laptop is fully spec'd out. and is amazingly quick! perfect for a gaming rig! It is comparable to the Alienware 17x only stylish Specifications: Intel Core 2 Quad core Q9000 (2Ghz, 6MB L2 Cache) Intel X38 based desktop chipset 6GB DDR2-800 SDRAM 2x320GB 7200RPM SATA HDD's (you can chose to stripe or mirror the disks) Blu-Ray Reader / DVD DL writer Combo Drive 18.4" WUXGA (1920x1080) Color-Shine Glossy screen ATI Mobility Radeon HD8740 x2 Dual Graphics 512MB GDDR3 VRAM per card (yes, 2x video cards with crossfire!) Some reviews: http://hothardware.com/Reviews/Asus-W90Vp-...luation/?page=1 http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/810/...troduction.html http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/asus-w90.aspx?page=3 Will put up some pictures if requested, but it looks exactly like the one in the reviews/website above Looking for $2000, pickup from Sydney or i can arrange a courier at buyers expense. to compare, there is currently a dual core version of this notebook on ebay in the states for $2350, so this is a bargain!
  15. can you tell me what the thing in the middle of the right hand side end tank of the radiator is? is it a sensor mount or something? and how much use has it had?
  16. can you have a look for the offset on the wheels? they are usually on the back of the rim somewhere (ET something)
  17. Hi Mate, is the clutch a nismo too? or just the flywheel? How many km's on it? any chance you can ship to sydney? thanks Kent
  18. location? and what offset are the 4 studs? 4x114.3?
  19. hi mate, Very slightly OT, but can you explain what they did to the power steering to fit the VL (which is alow pressure system isn't it?) very well detailed engine btw! Kent
  20. Hi Mate, what is the model number of the fan? and where are you located?
  21. i am afraid that at this point, i have no idea.. the guy making them won't know either until he makes one. He used to own a fibreglassing business, and supply prices have obviously changed over the years. at a guess i would expect a fibreglass bonent to be around $500+ and a full carbon bonnet around $1000+.. no idea for a mixed one. as a comparison, a carbon/fibreglass bonnet from restored in Japan is around $1200
