  1. Running 2 ECU's will still not give you as much POWAH as me.
  2. Simple answer, do your own brakes. Not hard to do at all. I fitted new rotors (DBA 4000 slotted and Hawk HP Plus pads) front and rear, brake bleed and also dust boots on pistons (which required a semi rebuild of the calipers). All in all took me about half a day. The pistons can be a little tough to pull out, but if you have an air compressor you can get them out pretty easily. You're car might be pulling to one side with braking if your dust boots over the piston have disintegrated and now you have scoring on your pistons. If this is the case, it is definately time for a brake rebuild. As for squealing, I used to have squealing with new pads until they were bedded in or until I did my first track day, but after that they are sweet. I also beleive that slotted rotors help clean the brake dust away more efficiently from the rotor face than stock rotors. Might be worth a look as DBA's are getting cheaper and cheaper everyday, plus you also get a performance upgrade for little $$ outlay.
  3. What this guys said!!!! Plus splitfires will give you an extra trillion rwkw
  4. So LAME was my aim!!!! You know you want bigger brakes Eug. Go on, buy them. Mates rates discounts apply.
  5. Let these stop you in your tracks!
  6. 310mm is the standard size for a R34 Turbo Car. People will generally fit them for an upgrade on a 33 or a non turbo 34. Cheers Pete
  7. As the title says, 2001 R34 GTT Front Rotors for sale. These are the huge 310mm rotors that give excellent stock stopping powah. Still have some decent meat left on them. Have replaced them due to upgrading to DBA slotteds. Price is $100 and pickup location is in Northern suburbs of Brisbane - Morayfield. (Can meat somewhere closer to Brisbane if needed). If you want them shipped, then you pay the freight. Let me know by PM if interested. Cheers Pete
  8. What can you get DBA 5000 part number - DBA 5928.1S for? Can you ship to Brisbane? Cheers
  9. Definatly 17*7.5 for all 34 Turbo models, except GTR's. Non turbo 34 models are 16's.
  10. I am happy to race with/against you. I have all of the above mentioned games. I personally think Live for speed is the most realistic to date. I have the relevant "sharing friendly" version updated to the latest version. So if people need it just let me know. Cheers Pete
  11. I have always said that the Hawke HP+ is one of the best performing pads to get. I swear by them. Never had any doubts with regards to the cars stopping ability/power whether it be on the track or on the road.
  12. I've made a cockpit from tubular aluminium with a recaro racing seat bolted into it. It all sits on castor wheels that I can easily wheel in and out of my dedicated home theatre room sporting a 120" projector screen. I've had some intense GTR2 racing sessions not to mention a full GTR2 24 hour race. When I get a chance I'll upload some pics. Oh and GTR2 is to date the best Racing Sim I have played. I am now keen to try live for speed.
  13. Pfft, might be faster than your 34, but not mine lol!!!!
  14. No Snail under the hood makes John SAD!!??
  15. Are these difficult to install? Is there any need to cut the roof or roof lining at all? I have a R34 Sedan with little people in the back who would love this unit?

It's say "Car is a P.O.S. Don't buy me lol"!!!!! Looks good John. Let me know if it comes time for the first test drive!!!!
  18. FYI, I have a 2001 R34GTXT, and with CES turbo back exhaust (www.cesracing.com.au) K&N Panel filter, and with boost naturally rising to 10-11Psi from the exahust upgrade, I managed to achieve 174rwKw @ the wheels. With the boost screwed to 12Psi with the $22 Turbotech bleed valve, I was able to squeeze another few kw to 181rwKw. No other mods needed for this output and the car is my wifes daily driver. The car also see's regular track days during the colder months of the year, although with 2 kids the car has lacked track use this year.
